I found lowering springs for the pontiac sunfire on the nopi e-cat. They cost $180.00 online, and in the store. Now, i found some cavalier lowering springs for ~$60.00 less, and they're only $120.00.

Now, i know that that sunfire and cavi are pretty much the same car (mechanically anyways...), but what i wanna know is if i were to buy some springs for a Cavalier, would i be able to have them installed and work properly on a Sunfire?

According to Eibach, it's the same spring number. FYI, google can be your friend. Seach next time.

yes they will work.. virtually everything is the same on our cars except body panels, front end... rear end.. and dash.. everything else is damn near the same and all will bolt up with minor modification.. the springs will work... same spring number so go for it

on a serious note why not just get some shit off of ebay

not like NOPI shit will be that much better in quality

you're just trying to lower your car you're not going for all out performance

save your $

hmm...i talked to somebody at school today, and they said that if i get JUST the springs, that i'll blow my shocks...And, that i should go for coilovers, or get the boot to go with the springs too..is this true? I kinda don't know who else to ask at the moment...

your stock shocks are gonna blow with anything over a 1.5 inch drop.. all that means is your car is gonna be BOUNCY as hell.. just got to pep boys and get KYG shocks.. cheap.. but good as hell

Ohhh...okay....

I was thinkin of dropping the car (i think) ~1 in the front and ~1.8inches in the back.

Cool, thanx. Would they be okay to drive from say, my mechanic's shop over to the pep boys thats close to my house? its about a 10 or 15 min. drive on buford highway.

they are not gonna blow instantly.. you can drive on them for awhile.. but about a month or so they will go

ok seriously my cavy sat on the ground and i didnt blow the shocks on my car for around a yr but you might want to check on if they will fit on a sunfire b/c I went through 2 sets of coilovers on my car b/c they didnt fit right. they say that will fit on any model 95-99 but they dont just fyi and you could swap them to a sunfire...I gave away a set last yr
