Great word of advice, wear gloves when messing with that stuff. I spilled a little bit on my hands and it dried all the moisture out of it for about 2 weeks. Lotion wouldn't do a damn thing either. So I had to walk around with 1 ashy hand FTL

the only thing is that it will dry them out bc the rubber will crack over time but as often as we change tires you shouldn't have anything to worry about

hmmm....seeing as aircraft stripper eats paint and kills skin..... i would say that it could probably damage wood.

is the list on the can? i've never actually handled it myself so i'm just basing my response on a guess. thats amazing though, maybe ppl use it 2 strip paint from wood sufaces too.

Now, you have your answer as far as whether or not it will cause immediate damage to the tire... but i would have seriously been in contact with the company before i put that shit anywhere near my tires. Does anyone know FOR SURE whether or not this degrades the rubber in your tires over the long term? Can it increase the chance of a blowout? Will it cause the tires to dry rot faster?

I know it's too late in this instance, but i really want to stress the possible safety risk to anyone that searches on this topic in the future.

I used it once on bare wheels... gloves... mask... outside on concrete... and washed the hell out of everything afterwards... I was STILL freaked out using that shit.

As far as the removing not doing a good job... did you let it soak for a good half hour? It took pretty much EVERYTHING off my wheels.

im not sure about the spary on kind, but i got mine in a 1 gallon can from and auto paint supply store and it is some crazy shit....let it sit on the paint for a good 10 min and it will eat it off. i felt my hands starting to burn after about 20 min.....through 2 pairs of rubber gloves! and also wea a mask! that shit burns worse than ammonia if you inhale it!
