what kind of engine does a 01 altima have? ive heard ka24de but im not sure:thinking:

edit: 2.4L I-4 155hp

so would i be able to swap a 240 manual tranny into it with relative ease? or no?

Uhm, Altima is FWD. You can't put a RWD tranny in a FWD car without and LOT of fabrication :o

Its a KA24DE engine FWD... You could only drop in a nissan altima transmission... Unless you swap the engine for a bluebird SR20 then you can use a different transmission... Sorry man .... I have an altima
