Don't know if anyone on here plays but i figure i'll give it a shot anyway... This is copied and pasted directly from ads i posted on craigslist and myspace.
I am looking to start an old school punk rock band with influences like pennywise, bad religion, and so on. It's hard to describe the exact style we're going for... but... if you want a rough idea you can go to myspace.com/apobmusic and listen to the sample tracks.
Anyway... I am singing and playing rhythm guitar. I already have a definite drummer... and a guy that is teetering between guitar and bass.
The current practice spot is in Lilburn, GA.
If you are interested, shoot me a message.
Later,
Chris
p.s. Just so you know in advance... The current members are 19- 23 years old and would prefer somebody within our age range (18-30... but all are welcome to a try-out).

Baby J can play a bass. I try to play the bass. I just bought a Warwick the other day. I like it, just a little heavy.

I started off on bass actually. It got a little bit boring though for me during times i wasn't in a band (considering it's been about 3 years since my last band, i really don't play much anymore)... It's not like the guitar where you can actually go out and do something solo.

Glad i could help out. :goodjob:

lol i don't think i've ever seen a solo bassist. I mean yeah maybe with guest musicians and whatnot... but i could obviously be wrong.
Anyway... Appreciate it,
Cramer
lol i don't think i've ever seen a solo bassist.A little off point, but the bass intro to "N.I.B." by Black Sabbath is f*cking pimp. The Primus cover was good too as it was a lot clearer.

Bass or guitar? I mean you don't have to be a damn all-star... Just better than me, ha. (I've been on the guitar for 3 years and the bass i haven't played as much lately, but 5+ years)
Also you need to have your own gig worthy equipment (I play out of a 120watt crate combo amp)

Well we have a second guitarist currently but I'm not sure whether or not he is going to work out. Right now we're looking for bass pretty exclusively (have another dude auditioning Wednesday for that), but i will definitely keep you in mind on guitar.
