To make a long story short, this car used to be my daily driver for a while. Had a few electrical gremlins, but it wouldn't stop me from taking it all over town without any real worries. I removed the dash to sandblast the interior where there was some surface rust, put rust converter on what was left, and primed/spray painted over it to protect the metal. The interior is still mostly stripped, but I do have the stock dash and gauges that can be re-installed in a short time. I put the battery back in it and it won't crank, I'm thinking when I removed the dash, it kept some circuit from being completed or something, so that's why it won't fire. But 100% honost, it would fire up and idle and I even drove it around the block a time or two before I started stripping the insides. If someone wants to v8 a light weight rear wheel drive car, or put in a turbo engine or whatever, it's a perfect candidate.

The car has cross drilled rotors up with coilovers up front, European Z tail lights, aftermarket exhaust (sounds real nice), aftermarket swaybars, and I think that's it.

I planed on rewiring the car with an EZ Wiring kit to eliminate the electrical gremlins, and putting Autometer mechanical gauges in the dash but I do not feel like going through the trouble of putting the dash back in just to see if something unplugged from there is what's keeping the car from running. If someone would like to purchase the car as is at a lower price than what I was asking before I started, and before I go through the trouble of rewiring it, I would sell it as is. If you're interested, make a cash or trade offer.

The car does have lots of extra parts and goodies laying around.

There's a few sample pics...and as for price, let's say $2000 obo or trade.

I don't have $2k, and wouldn't be selling it for $1300 unless I needed $ fast. However, would kick ass to have a Talon. Thanks for the interest.

So what is needed to get the car driveable?

It needs the dash subharness put back in (about a 15 minute job probably), the ignition relay system put back in, probably another 15 minutes, and the dash re-installed so you can read speed and stuff. It should fire right back up after that, because that's all I've removed, and I started it every couple of weeks w/o any problems before I started doing that stuff. However I'm not putting it back together to start it, and I'm not going to have some strange guy reassembling my car in my driveway lol

It's one of those things where you have to bring a trailer and we'll push it up on the trailer, and toss all the extra parts I have with it in the back of your truck.

Hmmm. I'm very interested in the car, But I am very uneasy about buying a non running car.

No offence to you, as a person or a seller, but I've been down that road before.

And that's a long drive from Charleston, SC to find out the problem's much more serious.

Still very interested though, please email me more detailed pics as the car sits right now.
Thanks in advance.

Those are all the details...if you don't think it'll run or be an easy fix, then don't buy it. There are other guys interested, doesn't hurt my feelings one bit.

No need to get offended, I was merely asking for more information. I'd like to see some more updated pics. You seem to be a decent guy, why not try to help someone who wants to buy from you?

Seems you've been trying to sell the car for quite some time already....

I wasn't trying to be rude or anything, was just shooting you straight. Those pics are exactly how the car looks right now in the 2nd album, except being in the grass in my yard, it's in my driveway. And I'm not sure what you mean by trying to help someone out wanting to buy my car. I feel the price is more than fair, I'm just not really sure what else I can do.

I think I'll pass.

if the car was running i'd be interested... if it's just a 30 minute job to get it running would definitely expand your customer base :D

Well I could do that, but I'm not doing it short of rewiring and putting new Autometers in the dash when putting it back together. Because if I'm going to make it run again, I'm going to make it the way I wanted it, and I'm sure as hell not selling it for $1300 after all that work :-D
