Not for nothing, ia is getting more outragous that is why i mostly use it to buy/sell parts because alot of the members want to engage in BS banter and try to disrespect other members so i can understand the time limit, but a certain # of posts, thats not fair, that seems like you are forcing members to deal with bs, there are tons of cool people on this site and i made some solid connections but you got alot of A-holes who make you not want to visit IA

Not at all. There are a gazillion threads on IA that have no drama associated with them at all. If you are only on IA to "sell" your goods, then to be honest you don't really need to be here. You have to understand that site sponsors, I happen to be one of those, PAY MONEY to be able to sell their goods/services here. What's NOT fair is that people sign up, don't contribute anywhere in the site, and then put 15 for sale threads selling everything from underwear to blown piston rings.

Seriously, if you can't find something decent to do on IA long enough to meet your general requirements......there's always craigslist or ebay. ;)

As I explained via PM's, the rules were made in order to keep things fair for EVERYONE that CONTRIBUTES to IA. It really isn't that hard of a rule to follow IMO. The problem is that too often, it is NOT that person that has been lurking and watching threads for a while but just doesn't want to get involved in the b.s. IA drama that we take issue with. It is however the person that flies in, doesn't bother to READ the FORUM rules which clearly outline what you can and can't do, and tries to peddle their wares. Then they get mad at ME for making THEM follow the rules they should've read BEFORE posting. I have had only a handful of people address me via PM's, respectfully and like a man, asking for clarifications. All of them got a clear response and were thankful for it. The rest.......get banned....:D ;)

As far as people disrespecting you, I totally understand where you're coming from. I've been on the other end of that treatment too. Just understand that it will happen and don't take it personal.
