OK so iv had a major exhaust leak on my accord ever since i put on headers(4-2-1).yes there the cheap ebay ones, but still havnt cracked so its not that..i smell gas fumes, and it just seems to putt along and when i rev it backfires alot.i have my OEM cat on,could it be the flex tube or were 4-2 Meet?im tired of having a leaking fart sounding car..i want my nice rumble back like when i had my rusted out OEM one.s...any ideas? and tips of keeping the bolts tight?

Well... the 4-2-1 designs for the accords seem to always have an exhause leak... i have one, but it dosent bother me. One way your suppose to tighten the bolts is from outside to inside. 4CYL or V6? Want an exhaust?

also, cheap header = cheap gaskets. check your head to manifold seal and your donut gasket

well since you have a 4 cylinder and you have "headers", you should take one off since a 4 cyl only has one "header". anyways... check the gasket. Also the flex pipe on that design sucks terribly, and if its an ebay header, they probably used the cheapest shittiest flex pipe possible. Look and see if it has black sooty carbon on the outside of the flex pipe. if so, thats probably the problem.
