I went deep sea fishing while on my week long buisness trip to the Dominican Republic. I caught a White Marlin that was over six feet long, and for all of you that know about deep sea fishing, catching a Marlin is the ultimate prize.

Nice job man...for people who don't , you usually catch one marlin for every 120hrs. on the ocean.

I went fishin about 70 miles off the coast of Amelia Island last summer tryin to catch a Marlin...No such luck:(

No all you need are a few good pics to get that done these days, they dont really use real animals for that anymore. I left it strung up on the beach and people kept coming up and getting there pictures with it. It would have been really hard to get it back to the states from another country, nobody would care but it would have been expensive.

I built a playground at a really upperclass elementary school, everything was included except the fishing, my boss paid $1,300 for that.

From what I understand they are terrible to eat and they are strictly for excitement when it comes to catching them.

I havent heard that but it sounds crazy enough to be true, that was my first ever deep sea fishing trip and I caught it about 3 1/2 hours into the eight hour trip. I dont know too much about deep sea fishing.
