Not quite finished, been busy with other things , but my dream computer system is almost complete. Going in the future with a custom built water cooling system, overclocking, blah blah blah.

G, you have the same desk as I do. And almost the same config. What's your setup?
I'm running 4300C2D on Asus P5K Deluxe at 3.2GHZ on air with 4GB of Crucial DDR2-1000.
Gotta love the processing of the C2D.
x64 OS with 4GB - Ramgasm.... :goodjob:

Where do you see 3.74GHZ???
He's running on stock clock of the 6300 ;) It won't get that high unless he's going phase cooling. :)

Photo work? I use photoshop and occasional premiere and vegas video. My PC has no problems at all handling heavy duty cycles on those programs. I work for a Linux company though. I grew up on Windows, learned Unix/Linux at a young age, currently work for RedHat. No real use for a Mac at this point in my life. Maybe eventually Ill buy one, but for right now I enjoy what I have.
I do shoot photos, and I do dabble in Adobe software, however I think Macs are overpriced.

Awww man you should have held out and waited for the wolfbane cores in Sept. The recent benchmarks of their "beta" card beat out the core duo T6550, shit is fast and cool. Reps to you though, nice rig.

Nice setup but for all the ram and video why not more hdd space? Mine is a smaller dual setup with 2 gigs of ram but with 1.5 terabytes of hdd space.
I need a lot of drive space for my biz/hobbies and by the look of it you already have a good bit of hdd space used. I am assuming that you just added the D: drive recently? Why not the 500GB instead of the 250? Do you have a hdd extender card or does your system come with more than 2 hdd capabilities?
I am not knocking your system by any means and I know a lot of people that still don't trust the 500's so don't think I am flaming ya.

Amen Brotha! Mac's are overpriced and over-rated!!! 10x over. A PC that costs atleast half of a Mac can peform just as well or out perform a Mac. Only reason people say a Mac is better is because the average PC user uses a MS operating systems which in fact is what causes most PCs to crash or have errors. Take that same PC and load Fedora, RH or Debian and guess what no problems. Anyway George the setup looks great! Similar to mine. I run a C2D 6600 4GB DDR2-800 3x 150GB raptors running raid 5 and dual GF 8800GTS in SLI on an eVGA board. Keep us updated on its progress :D

i've run windows since i started computers.. honestly if your windows PC crashes it's cuz you're a fucking idiot and you download shit you shouldn't be downloading and you get spyware and viruses, mac is trash when it comes to what a PC can do.
