wetsanding flat black paint job????

is it possible to wetsand a satin/flat black paintjob to get it smooth, and then use rubbing compound to get rid of all the little scratches? :thinking:

well it says " flat black " on the paint can so i guess flat black, ive always assumed they were pretty much the same lol

well it says " flat black " on the paint can so i guess flat black, ive always assumed they were pretty much the same lolsatin isn't flat :tongue: Without seeing it and how thick of a coat it has i'd say it wouldn't be very easy to wet sand...might be better to wash it, tape it all up, clean it with thinner, then respray it.
