There was a posted story with the original posting. It stated where the guy was from and where the wreck happened. But when you do a search for it, or go to those towns newspapers, nothing was ever listed for it. Definately casts doubt on the story.

i agree with what was said about it being fake.. one reason is because the guys feet are not chewed up as they would of been considering no shoes and the truck wouldn't stop that instant... also when would the cops let random people stop on the side of the interstate get out of their car and start taking pics? just saying

I've taken pics of wrecks with cops present. They dont care as long as your not in the way.

Same here. I just took some yesterday of a building and a car on fire here in town. I stayed out of the way and they didn't say anything to me. I have taken tons of photos of crime scenes, fatalities, fires, wrecks, Etc. and they never really say anything as long as I stay out of their way.

Usually the only time they ask you to leave the area is when you may be in danger or a minor is involved.
