OK, so I was wrong when I predicted that it would be USC and Florida as 1-2 in the preseason polls.

louisville should be in top 10 and GT should be somewhere between 21-25

why is FL even in the top 10? They lost most of their team to the draft and they have no one to back them up.

Michigan should be 2 simply because of their season last year and the fact that they have about half of last seasons starters from defense coming back, and all the playmakers on offense coming back.

USC is a solid #1 and will ride that most of the year, if not all year.

By week 3 the following teams will no linger be in the top 25.
Oklahoma
Georgia
Auburn
TN
UCLA
FSU
Texas A&M

there could be 1 or 2 suprises, and the couple teams in the top 10 may not be completely out, but they will be well on their way, at leat in the 20's.

louisville def should not be in the top ten. they lost their creator and brohm might be badass but he won't be nearly as good with the new coach. lol at georgia tech

you know why florida is #3.... because the offense is still intact except for leak. all the wr's are back the o-line is solid and they will put points on the board their only question mark is the defense but i think they will be ok because they still have harvey and he will step up and be the leader on defense.

lol at some of the team you say will not be in the top 25 by week 3 like auburn and georgia. i hate both teams with a passion but i give respect where due and they both are bringing strong team and both will have good seasons.

the only surprise i see is LSU they lost some key people on offense and defense didn't expect them at no.2 but preseason polls don't mean shit and o yea usc will ride no.1 for awhile because they play in the pac-10 and the pac sucks imo. up and down the sec, big 10, and the acc in that order are the toughest conferences around now the pac can fight the big 12 for the fourth toughest conference

OneSlow5pt0

so u think FSU is a better ACC team then GT right now?

GT is gonna stomp out the irish first game

BB6dohcvtec
08-03-2007, 11:53 PM
good point but they both are equally not that good. and i'll put money on the gt/nd game the irish will pull it out. have you seen the qbs they have fighting for the starting position.

GT has 75-80% of their defense back, which is always a top 20 defense in the NCAA,they have he best HB in the ACC...probby a top 10 HB in the NCAA and they finally have a quailty QB...now are they gonna go 13-0?no they wont unless, thier better than a think but i think a 9-4 record will be bout right.

and im not sure on ND,i know they lost their star QB and RB..so they better have some weapons or GT's defense will confuse the hell out of thier QB

You obviously have no faith in the SEC...

There will be 3 sec teams in top 10 in after week 3.

SEC showed me nothing last year, and dont bring up the NC game, even die hard SEC fans I've talked to admit that OSU played an absolutely horrible game.

On top of that, most of the stars of the SEC are gone now except for the RB out of Arkansas. One of them may pull a boise state, but I wont bet on it.

They showed you nothing last year? Where you blind?

LSU beat the shit out of everyone.
UGA finally got playing really well at end of year, notice the beating VT took.
Florida is returning like all WRs and they still have Percy Harvin.
Arkansas, Tenn, Auburn, and South Carolina could play with any other team in the nation too.

OSU got figured out. Urban Myer = great coach. Florida had a plan and stuck with it. Even with Ginn, it wouldn't have been close.

Urban Meyer is an ass. He caused controversy to get FL in the game. It worked, and OSU came in thinking they were going to walk all over FL and got embarrassed. If they played a second time it would have been a very differnt thing. None of that matters though as it was last season and not this one.

USC is a lock, LSU is a lock on D, we will see how they do without Russell.
UM has a very difficult schedule, but I see them winning the Big 10 and a 1 or 2 ranking by week 5.
Same pretty much goes for wisconsin and penn state. Very tough conference, probably the toughest in the NCAA this year. I know I'll catch hell form the SEC fans cause they claim they have the toughest schedule every year. And I will say the same thing now that I always do. If you play a div 2 team you do not have the toughest schedule PERIOD. I dont care who else you play.

OR St. will make it into the top 20 and maybe even 15. UCLA is benefiting from beating USC last year, but that was their only remarkable win.

If UM isnt in the NC hunt again this year I will quit watching NCAA though as I hate the BCS system. I only watch because of them.

You are right. He only lead the University of Utah to a perfect record and a victory in a major BCS Bowl game 3 years ago. Then he only lead Florida to a national Championship in his 2 season as their coach. He's an ass.

If OSU wasn't ready for Florida, how is that anyone's fault but OSUs? If the game happened again, Florida would have won again. They were dominated every aspect of the game besides the opening kickoff.

USC is way over rated. UF is ranked high cause tim tebow is the shit

however im a UT fan and i think their raiting is around where it should be, i was hoping for them to ranked anywhere between 10-12 but 15 will do for now

Gators go down in Lexington on oct.20 the wildcats have probably have the sec's best QB in Andre Woodson who led the SEC in touchdowns, passing, total offense and second in passing eff, they are breakout year and UF is going to get beat down while Kentucky lets the country know its for real

On_Her_Face

i think usc is over rated cause they have no defense, but i will go ahead and put this out there im a big sec fan so i am sorta biased to those teams having better defense.

lol at sc haha esp after they lost their biggest threat at wide out.......o yea lol at ark they don't have a real qb mustain transferred to usc and dick wont get the job done and the wildcat offense was highly looked at in the off season so unless their coach has more tricks up his sleeves the west is going to come down to lsu or auburn

OneSlow5pt0
08-05-2007, 02:18 PM
ark still has the best player in the NCAA,and good defense...u dont need a heisman QB to win the ship, and im not getting over hyped on tim tebow cause,u have never seen him play a whole game, just 5-6 plays agame..and thats useally running

+1......and i don't care if they have arguably have the best running backs in the country, it won't get you know where if you don't have a decent QB and casey dick is not even decent. lets see how he does throwing the ball more this year because that wildcat shit is played out and everybody picked up on it, the few times dick did throw last year it ended up going the other way.once mustain left so did their sec championship they were suppose to win this year.

said the same about leak and he still got the job done. he got it done in a offense that he wasn't built for. tebow is big, fast, and hard to bring down and he has every offensive weapon a QB can ask for, so the odds are looking pretty good.
