OK SO i got a slight problem i just completed putting a turbo kit on my 94 integra and went for a lil ride the first ride everything went good except my freakin bov didn't work OK SO that was my fault but when i went back out after fixing the first problem i hit boost the first time and the check engine light came on and it started running like crap SO i limped it home. Now i have the missing link installed but I'm not sure if its working right cause when i got it, it was in 3 pieces and i didn't really know exactly how it goes together would this cause my problem? if anyone knows anything that would help me track the problem please help

possbile boost leak.

is all your piping installed right?

air/fuel off?

if you dont know how to put it together, thats a big problem. are you sure you have the exhaust manifold matching up to the turbo with all the gaskets in place?

do you even have a turbo manifold?

what 3 pieces did you get?

put up some pics and i can help you alot more.

(i better get some damn reps for this)

Its your map sensor. You installed your missing link wrong (there is only 1 aluminum piece that is bolted on top of your existing map sensor so I don't know what you mean by 3 pieces)..All you need is couple of aquarium valves installed to the vacuum line. Do a search.

missing link...are you using a FMU too?
If so, ditch them both. In a 94 Integra your best bet is to atleast run some tuning software (Crome) so you don't have to deal with the failing mechanical "bandaids" (missing links and such)
As stated, your CEL is coming on when your map picks up on boost. You can use a missing link (if you insist on having one) or you can use some inline check valves to bleed the boost off before the map sensor.
BOV not working= probable boost leak somewhere.

i got the bov problem fixed that was my stupidity and the three pieces that i was talking about with the missing link are the alum. piece the plunger and the spring inside and if anyone can lead me in the right direction on the "in line check valve instalation id be happy to try that but im pretty sure that my problem has something to do with my map sens.

first of all get rid of that missing link...there not worth a shit. Then get the car tuned...it should run you around 300 plus maybe a little more if your ecu is a virgin. Dont try and drive around boosting when your car is untuned. It sounds like your still using stock injectors? Otherwise it probaly wouldnt run good enough to drive period...if you are then thats a big no no! Go get it tuned and then you will be problem free!

don't boost until it's tuned. make sure you have:
socketed/chipped ecu
larger injectors
no missing link
get it tuned.
