Publix all the way!!! its what i like to call the White mans grocery store. was shopping in there one time and they had these paper bags filled with items and they had a list of what was inside, they had stuff in them like PB, jelly, Bread, Mac&cheese and it was all the really expensive shit 2. i mean come on How white is that lol yes im white so no im not bashing. I think it has the best service and best over all look insidem. All the food is fresh and theres a free sample booth every freakin corner you come to.

I love Publix. Their own name brand items are just as high quality as everything else they sell.

The subs are amazing. The tea is amazing.

Nearly everone one of their name brand products is good and tastes quite similar to the name brands. That is why they are able to have the sales at times where you buy a brand name of something and get theirs free, to prove to you what they offer.

Oh yeah, the cookies are the best!

well, unfortunately i work at kroger (i'm only 18), so i'm sort of bias. I do agree that publix is a cleaner, better looking store. They pay their employee's more, and get better results. Their floors are always clean, and their workers are always happy. also, i've NEVER been into a publix and seen anyone goofing off like we do at kroger. it seems to be strictly business there.... personally, i'd hate to work there because everything seems so up tight, but thats not what this poll is about, lol.

on a side note, although i do hate kroger, i love the fact that they give their employee's $1,500 a semester if you're in college and you continue to work for them. It's some sort of tuition reimbursement. does anyone know if publix does this?

I like Whole Foods better than Trader Joe's...simply because Trader Joe's doesn't have enough selection. I wanted celery and they didn't have celery. Celery is a food staple! I also like fresh fish. Whole Foods always has lots of that.

I used to work at kroger for like six years started in 8th grade and worked up until my 2nd year of college then i got the bank job. so i am partial to kroger as well and their tuition reimbursement was cool. Kroger > all to me well except for trader joes or whole food because i have never been there before.

For all of you that shop @ Publix so much do me a favor please. Post up if you have or have seen small moths flying around your home mainly in the kitchen areas.

About 90% of the homes that we treat for Indian Meal Moths shop @ Publix and this is not coming from a 1 week survey but instead over the last 2 years. It may have just been the warehouse in Lawrenceville or something else maybe but just curious.

No bashing intended towards Publix or anyone else. hell we shop @ Publix most of the time.
