i think the last yr they made a cbr 750 was 02 and even then i have never seen one. your better off with the gsxr. easier to find and cheaper. cant beat them for the value

ahh i c... didn't know that.. i don't know that much about bikes.. and i talked to Brett and he said you know a shit ton about them lol... but anywaysi am looking to spend 4k-5k on one in about 2-3 months i am just tieing up loose ends before hand.. i like the 03+ front ends on the GSX-R's but i would settle for a 02 cause i figure you can change the front clip out with enough know how

actually its really hard to change the front and i think you mean the 04 upfront. you can prob find an 04 up gsxr600 for 4500 if you look really hard. gonna be hard to find a 750 that cheap unless you go back to 02. i would stick with a 600 though plenty of bike and still tons of fun.

Forget about getting a 600 or 750 to start. For $4500, you should plan on getting everything you need - and that is not just the bike. You will want to go to the MSF course ($250), and then you will want to buy gear. A helmet, jacket, gloves, boots, and pants will add up when you figure that in reality, that means multiples. You will probably have a mesh and a leather jacket, as well as Draggin Jeans and leathers. Plan for these costs as gear isn't cheap, but is just as necessary as the bike.
That will eat into you cash flow that is available for your bike.
Don't worry about the looks of your first bike as much as mechanical condition. YOu will probably drop your first bike (most do), and scratches are inevitable.
For a first bike, you want something easy to control and comfortable. Look into SV650s and older 600s to start. When you decide to get a bigger bike, you can resell these and not lose a lot of value.

start off with hondas 90cc sportbike...its small but its nice lol...nah j/k your going to find a Gixxer 750 a lot easier than a CBR750. Like bucky said they are as rare as an R7.
