Fun Run..s2k vs srt4

Had a little fun in the later afternoon in a couple quick runs with a srt4. Wasnt sure my car would keep up as i have a bone stock s2000 but surprisingly enough i pulled on the srt4 2 of the 3 times. Second time she blew by me as i was braking for the toyota tacoma 5o yards ahead of me. Im not a huge street racing fan and i def dont appreciate people driving crazy around me so i stopped long enough to get to another empty spot in the road. I guess i couldnt resist a little bit of fun though. Srt4 definetly had an exhaust but not sure what else. It seemed a pretty even match imho. If the person with the blue srt4 and silver flames is reading...:goodjob:...it was fun but the flames are kinda rice ....

Im pretty sure she was driving it pretty hard. Sound like she was stringing the motor out pretty good. Who knows. Ive ridden in a few srt4's and they are fast but i think stock vs stock the s2k out performs the srt4 with more hp and a better quarter mile time. Its really so close that it comes down to a drivers race though...which makes me sad...i guess its not a big deal i beat a girl :( but at least it was fun... oh and hell yea i'll run the bimmer mrt0mjones...its prob gonna beat me though but that cars is gonna be crazy. Glad she went to someone who knows how to treat her right :)

beats me man. didn't know her. just watched how she drove. she was good. she was with an old friend of mine named nick. he drove an 05 or 06 GT vert. black with red stripes and red leather interior. had chrome 03 cobra rims and a nice exhaust. real cool guy. i had my supercharged GT back then. the chick was blonde i do remember that.

really? i'd think a stock srt4 would PWN a stock s2k, maybe every srt4 i've ever ran turned the boost up or something cause back in the sr20 240sx days, srt4's could hang pretty well but s2k's would get creamed....i dunno. i wouldn't mind owning either car though.

Nah i guess your thinking of the other silverstone s2k on ia...lol i wish it was turbo. Who knows im getting rid of my del sol project for a 240sx. Maybe after a while i'll sell that and turbo the s2000...

ya i wasnt tryin to be a dick i just know when i owned my srt i raced quite a few s2ks and i always pulled them pretty good with just minimal mods, except a silver supercharged one

Yea i was totally surprised as was my friend sitting passenger side that we beat it. I guess besides the exhaust it was pretty much stock. The bov was loud as all get out though...it was a fun run. And the s2k's will surprise you! btw you were probably smart enough to boost yours up a bit and get some decent mods.....this person's choice in mods were full body vinyl flames...yeah

I have owned both an S2k and now my SRT...stock for stock, my SRT would Rape my S2k. They are fun and quick cars, but not even a close comparison. On the track the S2k did 14.7..the S2k 14.0 (spinning through first).

Yea the s2k only puts down about 200 to the wheels (rated at 240)bhp. Only around 140 peak torque if your motor is strong, which IMHO is not nearly enough. Which is why I TC'ed mine. Brought the WHP and TQ numbers into the happy level. now its more fair, a TC 4 cylinder against a TC 4 cylinder. PSI for PSI the s2k will destroy the srt-4.

what magazine was that nopi tuner or somethin. a srt will easily outrun a type-s or cobalt and a s2k in my opinion. and compared to a evo or LOTUS:lmfao: .
