View Full Version : Time to be nice to the mother in law (new car inside!)

So needless to say i am jealous. it has the 350 in it and has only 66xxx miles (hmmm) 1974 so it has no cat and it has the flat rear window. Now I have start being nice so i can get it when she dies and she lets me drive it in the mean time. I am really planning ahead to get this car!

If anyone wants to photshop it lowered a bit for me that would be great- I am trying to convince her it looks like a 4x4 right now.

Ha, I hope you really are joking about hating all cars from the 70's, love the Vet man. Those American Racing Torque Thrust wheels? Look like the one on my Blazer.

Not the Torque thrust- I am not sure what they are, but I think they look nice on the car. I know the Rally wheels would be great though.

definately the worst year ever for vettes, after they ditched the steel bumbers it was all downhill untill the c4 came out.

at what point did i say all? i said most....

i hate the 70's....most cars sucked balls

omg, look, there it is, the 70's produced some great cars, but was also the death of the old school muscle cars

look at the major muscle cars in the 70's...they all sucked, the vettes, the mustangs, the camaros

now obviously there were some exceptions...
1970 cuda
1970 chevelle
70 challenger

noticing a similarity here? early 70's were decent for the most part, then the smog era took over and fucked everything up

and on...
1970 gto
1970 boss mustangs
70, 71 road runners...

my point proven, most anything else from the 70's was butt fucking ugly and for the most part had cruddy performance

im not a fan of early non american made cars, so im unsure as to what performed and what looked good in those categories, so shoot me if i offended anyone who is

That vette reminds me of my old Barbie car I had when I was little. It was pink, of course.....LOL
