Chassis and motor identification?

Hey, my friend purchased a vehicle with over 200k miles according to carfax. It is an Integra LS. The car drives great, and I'm pretty sure that the motor had been swapped. How could I find out for sure?

vin on the motor...whats the engine code and what is the year and model of the car?

the firewall should have a vin plate which would tell u basicly everything about the car. check the driver door also
