Sentras are slow

At a hang out, friendly run, STI owner was courious about the Sentra.

AWD guys allways want to go from a dig or low speeds. I allways say ok because it's more fun and my suspension set up is for digs and low speeds.

We roll from 30 MPH I guess, I was in second. Three honks, tires spin but it doesn't blow them off, it actully moves foreward when it spins. I'm running 9ish PSI. I jump about 1/2 a car and just start pulling from there, I run second out shift to 3rd play with the throttle to keep him close, pull some more, shift to 4th and let out. so I guess about 30-90.

He said he had an exhaust, 20PSI, and flash retuned.

Hanging out last night. Get set up with an EVO 8, downpipe, intake, upgraded IC piping, bov, some other stuff, still had delears tags, lol. He wouldn't do it at first but as I was leaving I guess his friends ragged him about being scared to run a Sentra, only one of then knew I was boosted, lol.

I was on 7psi from a 25 roll. I should have never played with my suspension setup........ second broke lose and I hit the limiter, he pulled 1/2 a car, I shifted third and RPM's dropped to 3k, ooops, but it gave me a long pull to redline, fat TQ band FTW, I pulled back and put him back at my rear bumper quick, shifted 4th and had 1.5 to 2 cars on him and let out. Of course I got the WTF, OMG, I can't belive it's not butter, which allways makes driving a slow sleeper boosted Sentra so worth it, lol.

Turbonetics kit has poor performance, they advertise crank HP. You can't find a good turbonetics dyno, I could show you a few 250ish WHP Turbonetics dynos at 8 psi, lol. Not a fan of Turbonetics Kits.

I was going to do a pull at 11PSI but this was good enough around 8.5. My poor stock clutch, lol. Once I change a few things up: low temp thermostats, thermal wrap, clutch, fuel pump, I'll run it up some more. There are still a few upgrades I could do to make more power w/o turning up the boost ;)

If his numbers are near what you made on stock turbo then I'm thinking it's going to be a raping for the SE-R cause you know your WRX would've gotten a good raping from Panda (while you were on stock turbo). ;)

I was gonna get one awhile back. My favorite turbo'd SpecV was that sliver one "SpecMe". Ive seen his vids and a boosted Sentra ain't no joke.

Yo J, Hit me we got some work to do, I just ran a mo-power 350Z and it cranked 650+++ in a 5th gear pull 60-160mph 15psi. I think it could do 800hp ez if we got the turbos spooling sooner and the gate popping of earlier cause it will spin at 150mph.

He wants to come back next week after he gets new injectors and a new ECU and might hit 1000hp$$$.
