Prelude w/JDM H22a vs. XXXXX

I drive a 1992 Prelude Si with JDM h22a and header/exhaust/intake
Me V. VoodooXII (Saab 9-3 2.0T :goodjob: Aero 6speed Stock)

Did a few runs last night....I gotta say, his driving as come a long way since last time we ran and I ripped him a new one. :lmfao:

Run 1:
30-120, I honked twice to get his attention cause I didn't know if he was ready (that car is silent as hell), he jumped ahead at the end of the second honk, he was one car ahead of me when I got on it and reeled him in by 80, put 1 fender length on him by 120ish.

Run 2:
30-120, good runs this time. i got 1 car by 65, pulled maybe 1/2 a car more on him by 80-90, 90-120 dead even till i backed off.


Me V. AP2 S2k (Stock)

Run 1:
20-120, im ahead till 90, he got me by a car, windows open, sunroof open

Run 2:
20-120, same outcome, i got a better shift on my 1-2 and lost by 1/2 a car only

Me v. AP1 S2k (Stock)
Run 1: 20-100, i pulled instantly got him by 2 cars (he had the top down)
Run 2: dig-100, dead even off the line, i get 3 cars on him (top up, my windows were down for both runs)

Me v. AP1 S2k (Stock?)
Run 1: 50-120, The guy kinda jumped before i finished honking, lost by half a car with windows open

Run 2: 40-120, A/C on in 2-3rd, lost by 1.5 car, good driver


Me v. 04 GT with Exhaust and K&N Air Filter (5pd)
He's a good 2-4 cars ahead for every run.

Looking for some more runs, perhaps some e36 m3's. I raced one earlier. 3 runs, beat it once, lost 2 times by 1.5 cars.

By the way, my car has a 2.0 liter turbo...not a 2.3 liter. That's the 9-5's engine, and if I had that, you'd be DONE. 263 bhp wouldn't be very forgiving to your Honda.

i've pretty much decided, after seeing some boosted h22's doing mine right will lead to awesomeness, im gonna boost mine. prolly next summer, run 5-8psi for a year or so then build it get a larger turbo and go all out for 15-20psi

Do it man. I've had mine boosted for a little less than a year *knock on wood* and haven't had any problems running 8-9psi daily.

It was good, I got a few kills in + I got beat by IntegraXTR's EG/GSR (I think he has something up his sleeve) but umm I didn't get a change to run Big J since he left early & chickened out of what would've been a defeat :rolleyes:

How much are you making at the wheels? Round about figures..
When I first put the turbo on with my stock exhaust at about 5psi I made 185whp and 205wtq. Since then I upgraded my flywheel and clutch, exhaust, and turned the boost up to around 8-9psi, so I would think I would be at around 200whp and maybe 220wtq?

I finally got a Hondata and new injectors that hopefully will be going in and getting tuned within the next month.

I tried to get some people to hang back and let everyone else roll up the road, but someone didn't want to change maps and hook a bottle up, the guy in the STI didn't want to hang back. Yeah, off bottle. I don't ever run other N/A cars with bottle unless they have either too many cylinders or FI. If me & Bannana would've done a 60 pull or gone to 120 on the 40 pull I would've pulled alot more + we were going uphill & have no TQ.

Well, it almost kinda sucks to be exactly 1 litre down in displacement and making almost 100 whp more than me to the wheels. Well, luckily, my car weighs 2850 lbs. I can brag about that :bannana:

^^Hahaha, me too. It took me almost a wheel to get used to my flywheel. You know you need to drive it at least 500 miles without driving it hard, right? The clutch has to heat cycle to be properly broken in. Or it will chatter, your clutch will glaze over, and it will slip the whole time it's in. I'll call you sometime this weekend to check up on ya
