And no, I'm not talking about anyone from IA.

I know I'll get flamed for asking this, but yesterday I got new tires (S-03). Last night, I washed my car. I armor all'ed the sidewalls and thought since the tires were new I would put armor all over them so the whole tire would be jet fockin' black. It looked hella sweet. You guys don't think this might have caused my wreck, do you? I know Armor All is a little slick but I wonder if there was something else wrong with the tires also, or something?

What's wrong? Later, QD.

awe man.... I took my old 5.0 to a carwash back in the day and then I turned westbound onto hwy78. I saw there was some traffic coming over the hill, so I gave it a little more gas than usual (okay, so not more than usual, just more than was absolutely necessary) and I was sliding sideways all the way across 4 lanes. It felt like I was on ice and I know it was because they shined the shit out of my tires. Thank god there was no traffic heading westbound...

HAHA! That dude is a fucking moron. I'm surprised he made it out of his driveway. +1 for such a good find. I almost can't believe it is real because the dude is such a moron.

On a sidenote, I too almost fubared my car after detailing it once. I about shit my pants.

Small amount of tire shine on the tread + rear swaybar + subs in the back + somewhat sharp turn = OH FUCK! COUNTERSTEER!!!!

Shit always happens after the self-serve car wash, get sideways out of the bay, then get sideways out on the street. Damn soap.

What the hell do you know about brake dust?

I don't even need to paint my wheels black...I just won't wash them for a week.

Damn, my car builds up brake dust the same way Indians grow facial hair...too fast and too much.

Anyway...I never shine my tires. I only clean the wheels. That guy is a fool.

I had the same problem with my factory brakes. If I wanted my wheels to be clean, I would have to clean them literally 3 times a week. Now that I have my Hawk pads, its down to 1 time a week, but it still sucks...

My hawks make so much dust im thinking about getting some new, daily driving pads cause these race compounds are gonna kill me at 100$ a pop and an their brembo rotor eating habits, lol

did you get the HP+? I think mine are the HPS pads. What kind of car are they in? Mine are in the factory brembos on a G35
