ok guys i bought a sk2 cam gear from a guy on here and im having problems with it like the fact that the cam gear has a notch in it for something and the stock cam gear has a piece that sticks out....im a little confused By this i can get pics if that will help. ANY HELP WILL BE USEFUL!!! THANX

That would be the notch for the keyway..

oh yeah i forgot to say its for a d-series or is supposed to be....

It goes on something like this... (generic shaft with a keyway pictured but a camshaft in your case)

and a piece of keystock is what prevents it from spinning... (pictured is a woodruff key)

PS.

Don't lose the keyway. You'll get in a lot of trouble.

Ask me how I know. ;)ace hardware, home depot, any parts store...you can get them just about anywhere.

when i bought it, it didn't come with that key.... i'll go buy one thanx
