just bought it..............its stock.....w/ a k&n just bought some jets and a slip on though....

i traded my gxr 600 w/ a full yoshi, fule commander, and k&n...and other basic stuff..i work at Milton Martin Honda

Cool.I am just down the road from ya like 2 miles. Jet kit? An 03 with carbs? Mine has the dual K&N intakes
D&d exhaust
Forged pistons and rods
Higher compressed heads
Oversize carbs
Stage III jet kit
went from a 532 16/43 sprocket kit to a 520 15/45.
I bought a supercharger for it but just dont have the time or money to get it all working.

Lol I just like that LOUD crazy sound from the pipe. Now the supercharger was a basic charger someone said they used on there busa but I just jumped the gun and bought it and havent talked to him again. So I have NO IDEA how to hook it up or what to buy for it. It was a ebay thing.

is there no serial number or brand stamped on it? is it a supercharger or a turbo? because it's more commonly known for busa's to turbo their bikes than to supercharge? to be honest with you, I've never heard of many guys supercharging their bikes at all? for some reason, I think you mightve been scammed on that.

Id ont know if you checked out his website, but it's a automotive website only.....all his turbos are professionally built and none are rated at 6psi....

I dont know what's going on here, but if it were me, I'd email that guy and ask him what the hell is going on, or find out what I bought and just re-list it up on ebay and get rid of it, because all of the turbos on his website are way to big to fit on a bike anyways, and you have a 97 right? you want to put a turbo on a carb bike, that's a no-no.....you'll blow the bike right up.....unless you have a master tuner and alot of custom fabrication.

Hey guys. im glad i found this thing. and to whoever has the yamaha, nice work for your first paintjob. Anyway, im getting a bike within the next week or 2 but it's got a salvaged title. Everythings been repaired and there's no cosmetic damage. So all i have to do is take it and get it cleared. Anyway, i've heard that a lot of people meet at the BP in downtown ATL on friday and saturday nights. I'll ride with you guys when i get the bike though. -names brad.

I'm not even gonna start on that one.


it's getting cracked down though, the owner of the BP does not like the loitering....and the police patrol it heavily now to get the the bikes moving.

I've seen the people at that BP. I went to school at Tech, so I'd see those folks down there pretty much every week.

Its mostly black guys on crotch rockets wearing full-leather leotards with bright flashy colors.... and before someone screams 'rascist' at me, let me point out that I'm black and think the bikers at the BP are a bunch of jokers! I can understand meeting to go ride... but they are more interested in being seen on their bikes than anything else. (There isn't any *good* riding downtown or in midtown on a busy ATL Sat. night.)

A better bet would be the Thursday 'bike' night at the Vortex in Little 5 points. I haven't been yet, but i've heard that the chopper-hogs and crotch-rocketeers alike there are really friendly. You gotta be 21 to get in the door at Vortex, though.
