moisture in your distributor cap. take it off and look for moisture, if it's in there wipe it out. thats one possibility

i'm not talking water necessarily, sometimes a small crack in the distributor cap can allow moisture to get into the cap and cause that issue

only reason i mentioned that was because you said that it rained and the acceleration issue, and that reminded me of what my problem was, or moisture in your spark plug hole.

i had both issues at once on different occasions and the problem was solved both times.

just go check it, it only takes a minute to check the distributor cap for moisture

unplug your tps and see if that fixes it.If that dont work check your ignition system condition.

dremel tool is your best friend when fooling with the tps ! ... u cut slots in the rivets and take a flat head screw driver and unscrew them !! then replace with a screw incase further problems occur .... i remind u put the tps back in same place as u take it off or mess with it a lil while the car is cranked if the tps doesnt make the idle fluctuate bad/better ... id replace TPS .thought id look out .. and g/l

check the code to find out what's the problem instead of chasing your tail. go check the code and report back what it is.
