I was asked by a fellow member if I would consider posting my fleet of tangled up cars. I figured why not. Show the way things were while you guys were getting potty trained, lolol.
1. 1980 Datsun 210- got this bitch in 1987, slammed it 88, shaved it in 89. This was my first lowrider and my surfing car. Took this to Miami and Sebastian twice a month for about 4 years.

2. 1980 Mustang- got it in 90, slammed it same day, put air shocks on all 4 corners later, had it painted at Spray-Glo in 1991.

3. 1983 Civic Wagon - got it in 1995, slammed it, by removing front coils and removing all but one leaf in the rear and flipping it, that was my TX car

4. 1987 RX7 - got it in 1996, slammed it and threw some rims on it, bought first set of H4 conversion headlights made for it, lolol

5. 1990 Geo Prizm - got it in 1990(brand new), it was red, so I took it straight from the lot to Spray-Glo and had it painted blue, slammed it

I also had a 1977 Toyota truck, monoed in the rear, and zero coils up front. Lolol. There's a few other cars in the mix that I have no pics of, but you get the gist. For me, and quite a bit of other lowered people, it was about how low, not how good it looked. Later, QD.

whyd you get rid of the FC? :(

The engine cooling system went completely out on me and the repair bill was quoted to me at around $1,500 so I dumped it for a newer car(the Neon).

The Rx7 and Mustang didn't look that bad...Actually both looked good dumped. Nice Pictures.

I thought so, too. Thanks.

y did u drop the 7?

Drop as lower or get rid of? If you meant lowered, why not and I was also still big time in lowriding as the tuning part was just starting to pick up when I got the car. The RX was the car that got me into the tuning scene a bit more and when I bought the Neon, I took it to SCCA.

nice cars

Preciate it.

now you just need a '64 Impala...

I sure wish. That's one that I'm waiting on. Or any earlier than 1975 boat.

for someone who drives trucks now.. you sure did like riding low back in the day

Lolol. Back in the day? Shit, I'm waiting on my 2" lowering springs for my GA now, lolol. I decided to get lowering springs for this car instead of removing springs so I can have a smoother ride. My 77 Civic is lowered about 3". Later, QD.

The mustang and the neon are my 2 favorites, What kind of suspension setupd did you use when you autox'd? Theres no way you would do it with no springs right..?

I had that RX back when the tuning world was just starting to make it's way out here. I saw no one else with a sticker like that at the time. I wouldn't think of doing that now.

i like the mazda... kinda reminds me of a slammed 944

That's what I always thought, too. And I love the 944.

I think i have seen this neon on ebay.

And I'm thinking you're about as wrong as Stevie Wonder on Win, Lose or Draw.

Every fucking one of them.

[quote=HypnoToad]idk,im just not a fan of droped sports cars

Only one of them was really a sports car.

Why not? The 78 is a classic. To me, it's the best Civic out there. The grandfather of all the crap you see on the road today, lolol. Later, QD.
