Sooo for the sake of time I'm just going to copy my posts from the Zilvia and 240sxforum's threads ^_^

Hey guys, like I've stated in my thread (240sxforum thread reference) I am selling my car. I've just been too tired to get new pics so I figured I will write up the description for it and post the old pics I have and update when I get around to taking new pictures (when it stops raining here in Atlanta).

The car has a clean title. Upon email or PM request I will provide the VIN number. This has been extensively modified and the reason for selling is because with uni classes starting up in a month I won't have the time that this car deserves to drive or to add to. Although so much is done already, yes if I kept it I know I would find myself continuing to buy things >.<, and as most college students lol, I can't afford to be addicted to modding anymore.

Anyways, enough rambling and onto the car and list of modifications.

Make: Nissan
Model: 240sx SE
Year: 1996
Milage (on chassis alone): 123,309

Engine:

Power: At 8 PSI (wastegate only) this car made 254.85 whp/257 ft.lbs (stock sr's at 8 psi make what... 190 whp? if they are lucky). At only 14 PSI (currently not tuned for) it made 340 whp and 355 ft/lbs at conservative A/F ratios (11.5-ish). I do have dyno's to prove both of these and will upload them shortly along with newer pictures.

Built KA24de Crate Motor from Top Hat Performance (www.tophatperformance.com). This motor has 316.5 miles on it, just broken in and its had its oil changed (though professionals recommend 2 oil changes before 500 miles on brand new motors, using convential, then if desired after 500 miles the next change can convert to synthetic). During break in period it was never revved above 5k rpms, was not abused in any way.

Parts (in the crate motor alone):

> SuperTech 8.8:1 forged pistons .020" over (.5mm over iirc)
> SuperTech performance piston rings
> Cometic MLS head gasket
> ARP Head studs
> ARP Main studs
> NEW Timing kit (tensioner, guides, chains and gears. Upper chain guides were removed to eliminate the infamous ka timing chain rattle)
> NEW Oil pump assembly
> NEW Water Pump
> Clevite Main and Rod Bearings
> New freeze plug kit
> Mr Gasket copper exhaust gasket
> Intake gasket

Labor (in the crate motor alone):

> Block was bored, honed to 89.5mm, decked and hot tanked
> Head was cleaned, received a 3 angle valve job and is surfaced.
> All galley and freeze plugs were replaced
> Cam journals were checked and polished
> Factory camshafts were checked and polished
> Crank journals were checked and polished
> The rotating assembly was perfectly balanced (including rods, pistons, and crank)
> Block was painted engine cast coat grey
> Match porting on intake and exhaust sides of the head

Other Parts installed in the engine (all labor was done by Top Hat Performance):

> AMS GT32
> CORE Stainless Steel Equal Length Tubular Exhaust manifold with external Wastegate. The warranty is still good on this (10 months remain iirc).
> Eagle Rods
> Hybrid Development 24"x12"x3" Front mount intercooler
> Custom fabricated 3" Intercooler piping
> Custom 3" exhaust from the turbo back to the 3.75" catback exhaust piping
> N62 (300zx) MAF
> MSD 50 lb/hr top feed injectors
> AMS top feed fuel rail
> HKS SSQV blow off valve
> Apex'i N1 muffler (was replaced with an identical unit made by megan due to rusting on the original)
> Competition Clutch Stage 4 - Strip Series 1620 Combo Kit which comes with the stage 4 clutch and the ultra light steel flywheel.
> GReddy Emanage Ultimate. Probably the closest piggyback unit you can get without getting a full stand alone system. This has a rediculous amount of features and is an amazing unit. Tuned for 8 psi. This will not pass OBD-II emissions standards due to 3 CEL codes being shown. If you wish to know I will email you the 3 codes and you can try to troubleshoot prior to inquiring about the car. 1 is related to the MAF, 1 is related to the "Auxillary emissions unit" and the other is a manufacture specific code. It is your responsibility to know your own counties emissions policies before proceeding.
> GReddy E-01 Boost controller with 3.5" lcd screen in car. Amazing lil bugger, tons of features (including high/low boost settings) and hooks up to the emanage ultimate. Unfortunately I do not have the USB-B male to male cord that is required. The units are securely located in the glovebox however so access and connection will be very simple.
> SAFC-II. I use this simply for observing knock count.
> B&M Short Shifter
> SX Fuel Pressure regulator w/ vacuum line attatched.
> Hayden Dual 150 electric puller Fans
> Brian Crower V3's (280/280 Duration, .401" lift). These are currently not installed but I will included them in the sale of the car.
> Supertech dual titanium valve springs. These are currently not installed but I will include them in the sale of the car.

Suspension:

> 32 Way adjustable D2 Coiloves (have approx 10k miles on them of street driving). Never tracked or drifted, still have all the tools for adjusting and original booklet that came with them. The fronts do have the pillowball mounts for adjusting camber

> Battle Version Rear Upper Control Arms. These are needed for any car with coilovers so that the rear camber is able to be adjusted accordingly to the lowered car.

Interior:

> Autometer Oil Pressure Gauge
> Autometer Water Temperature Gauge
> SAFC-II is mounted under the CD player where usually the spare cargo bay is in the radio trim.
> GReddy E-01 LCD Screen is nicely tucked in front of the gauge cluster (blocks the left corner of the tachometer but isn't an issue because the screen displays readings of RPM's when connected with the USB-B cord previously mentioned)
> B&M Short Shifter
> 2x 6x9 inch rear Pioneer Speakers (300W)
> 2x 6 inch front Pioneer Speakers (300W)
> Kenwood CD Player
I can get actual model #'s if you guys are serious
> Ice Cold A/C and blazing hot heat. Defrost and Rear Defrost work excellent!
> The bad about the interior is 2 things. First off the radio trim is cracked (as is very common amongst all 240's). I am currently looking for a replacement, as they are hard to track down but I guarentee I will find one for replacement by the time of purchase. The second bad thing is there is a broken bracket piece on the right side track of the sunroof. This does not prohibit the sunroof from fullfilling all functions, its simply when you hold the button down to move into the closed position it will vent the right side. It happened about a year ago and I simply got used to tapping the button until it sat where it should (and became proficient at doing this after a while). I took it to a body shop and had an estimate and since this bracket is made out of pot metal it cannot be welded back together unfortunately. They said the only thing they could do was order a completely new assembly track which was 800$. I said no thanks and have looked at a couple junkyards and tried to source it online but most spare/junk S14's (1995+ 240sx's) do not have sunroofs. It's been quite a challenge trying to locate this piece. A suggestion was made to look at sunroofs on other Nissan vehicles of the same era (such as maxima's etc) but with school and working full time, I never found the availability to pursue this possibility. Other than these 2 bad things, the interior is practically mint. There are no stains on any of the carpeting, it was never smoked in, there are no tears. It's immaculate in my opinion.

Exterior:

2 Set's of Wheels:

> 4x 17"x9.5" (+22mm offset) Volk Racing 57S in bronze with 4x Advan A032R 255/40/17R. The fenders have been rolled in order to fit these and they look amazing. I purchased these a year ago from an Evo owner and have put all of 300 miles on the tires (though they were purchased used and the tires currently have approximately 50% tread remaining in the fron and 25-30% remaining in the rear). These produce slight road whine common in low profile tires but are quite possibly some of the stickiest tires legal on the roads. Very solid connection and feel with the ground. No clearance issues with the fronts due to 1/8" hubcentric spacers.

> 4x 16"x7" (+38mm offset) Enkei OR52 in athrancite (sp?) with 4x Falken Ziex 512 225/50/16's. These are what I have used as a wheel/tire combo for daily driving since I've owned the car. Amazingly quiet and comfortable compared to the Volks. The all season tires are brand new (literally had them placed on the car and drove for 20 miles before removing them). I call that as close to 100% tread life remaining as you can get on a used set of tires.

> Paint is excellent except for one rock chip and a small dent in the hood (small dent caused the crumple zone to raise the right side of the hood's alignment with the driver fender by 1/8"th or so, will provide exact measurement pictures upon request. The most clear shot of it below is seen in the 3rd image posted on the uhaul trailer). SE Lip has few blemishes but is to be expected. New paint 5 years ago due to minor hail damage (according to previous owner). There is a small scracth along the passenger side right behind the wheel well. It isn't significant but when it does bother me (however I am nuerotic about things being out of order or unclean with regards to this car).
> Sunroof WITH NO RUST!!!
> Spoiler

Asking Price:

$12,500 with both sets of wheels/tires
$12,000 with the Volk Racing wheels/Advan tires
$11,500 with the Enkei wheels/Falken tires

Car is sold as-is with no standing warranty.

I feel these are fair prices considering I could price out the parts/machine work alone and probably reach that. I am willing to talk and hear out offers as well as travel in order to meet anyone who is well outside of the Metro-Atlanta area who wishes to purchase. No joy rides please but serious inquiries will be allowed test driving.

This should cover everything, but with that many mods I may have missed something. Please if you have any questions feel free to PM me on here or throw me an email at [email protected], I will be posting pictures up breifly (praying for no rain tomorrow).

Here are some older (>30 days old) pictures I have found of the car. Only a couple are of the car on the Volk Racing wheels, and some of the last ones are of the car before the built motor and turbocharging were done. I apologize for the poor lighting as they were taken for the purpose of artistic appeal. I know they are not the greatest to provide you with the overall look of the car but I promise you I will be taking new ones immediately as the weather will permit.

unfortunately it rained again today so I didn't take it out from the garage. Heres an older picture of it with the gold valve cover. The current valve cover is pc-ed a dark red.

sry about the wait, had issues with the camera yesterday and ended up having to send it back to get fixed via warranty. Borrowed a friends today and snapped some along with a short (<1 min) vid of a walkaround while idling.

Also I realized another non listed mod while taking interior shots. The car also has a B&M Short Shifter on it.

Official milage and motor milage is updated. The trip was reset when the new motor went in. The Chassis has 123,309 miles and the Motor as of today has 316.5 miles on it. Thanks :)

They are up :)

Here is the dyno sheet. The dyno sheet has 3 runs, the tune it currently is on is the 3rd, 254.85 whp and 257.56 ft/lbs. The break up you see at the top end is due to this being run on a N60 (altima iirc) maf. B/c eventually I wanted to run higher than this, I changed over to the N62 (300zx) maf. There is no breaking up in the top end as shown in the dyno, i just don't have any current ones with the n62 on :/.

I also have the 14 psi dyno sheet that I can scan at your guy's request.

No thanks allstock... i'll be getting out of the heavy modification scene by looking at stock AP1 S2k's or possibly a few smaller suv's (FX35's are nice ^_^). Something that I can comfortably commute in to uni this fall.

Thanks badass240.... there is a guy flying down from NC this saturday and is pretty interested in buying so I'm going to go ahead and list this as Pending Sold.
