Wideband and Boost Controller HELP

How do you guys feel about wideband and electronic boost controllers? I mean as far as which ones are the best for the money in ur opinions? I feel like it would be a good idea to have this on a DD pushing 400+. any opinions are appreciated thanks.

i cant say which is better becuase i have limited experince with them but i have plx wideband and i love it..also have a greddy profec b spec II which works great....these are the only wideband and ebc i have ever had so i cant say wheather they are the best or not.

i have aem uego and it's sweet for a wideband. i also have the aem truboost ebc and gauge. the truboost is easy to use, but i think a non-digital gauge with a real needle would be easier to read.

i prefer the techedge wideband www.wbo2.com since i can connect it to my palm IIIc to use it for display and datalogging w/o having to carry a laptop everywhere. they are in australia, so do a $ conversion to know your true price.

boost controllers i would recommend greddy profec b spec 2 or the world electronics.

I have an innovate wideband connected to my megasquirt and running into my laptop as well as an a/f gauge. really nice. You can program the outputs from the innovate and get it to simulate a NB gauge for hooking into the storebought gauges. I get a nice view of it direct into the megasquirt software and it also includes a program called logworks that datalogs the AFRs as well as anything else you decide to hook in.

I have both the AEM and the DynoJet WB... if you need more security and the brains to setup a wideband correctly than the DynoJet would be the best, especially for boosted applications and even better when nitrous and/or methanol is thrown in the mix. For safety reasons of coarse... What kinda vehicle and what kinda tuning software/program are you currenty using? If you don't want to pay the money, or are less-skilled with electronics I would recomend the F.A.S.T. or AEM WBs

I also like the APEXi AVC-R... it's a little more user friendly.

i love my wideband from AutoMeter.

they all have there pros and cons. probably the AEM is the best if u get the AEM stand alone to go along with it.

also i saw a company at SEMA called Zeitronix..i loved their setup very much. look them up too.

I have the old Zeitronix set up, it by far one of the best for the money. The new Zeitronix is the shit, programable LED warnings triggered by the values you set for AFR, boost, ect. simiulated narrow band output, ect. A wideband guage is pretty much worthless for tuning, and for the price of an AEM ugo you could get a Zetronix and somthing to eat.

kick ass. good to hear. I really wanted their wideband b/c of how it looked, the functions and it seemed so easy. But I already had AM Cobalts and it just wouldnt have looked right.

i use plx wideband. Best EBC for the money is the greddy profec spec B 2, or like scotty said, the world electronics pbc.
