I'm needing a dual stage boost controller. I don't need anything fancy or technical. I just want something that I can switch from daily driving (9psi) to track use only (22psi). I'm also worried abotu my fuel when i do this. if i go from 22psi to 9psi, won't my fuel still be set for the 22psi?

you'll still be tuned for high boost, but you won't ever reach those points in the map. if it's tuned properly you'll be fine since you'll only be in the lo boost sections of the map that should be tuned already.

yeah go with the turbo XS dual stage manual boost controller... I have been using the single stage for years and never the slightest issue.

type R :D

The Apexi AVC-R
is the shit, adjustable boost in each gear. really a pain in the ass to setup but once its there it is great. :)

the profec-b is a much simpler EBC, simple to set simple to use, no problems.

i had a greddy ebc and i hated that thing i think my turbosx mbc works better then my ebc

cool , i just like how the EBC can be set to hold boost perfectly until it is time for it to open the actuator.. the MBC's tend to be a bit sloppy. but hey whatever works for 1/2 the price or less..

if i go w/a MBC can it be controled within the car? I originally had a Turbonetics MBC but it had to be set outside the car. I'm wanting something i can control within the car. I was also reading about the TurboXS dual stage and if i read it right it said u can change boost levels while moving. If thats the case i might go with it.

the turboxs 2-stage is just 2 mbc's strapped together and a soleniod that switches between them, so 1 is set to your low setting and the other to your high. changing boost is just hitting a switch. but you can't have it set for 9/22 and change your high boost to 20psi if you have set it to 22 already unless you get out of the car and turn the screw on the high one under the hood.

it looks like i'll be going with the TurboXS dual stage boost controller. I would just be worried going from 9psi to 22psi while moving has to be hard on the car.
