Well anyway; I'm going out tonight and I was wondering where everyone will be meeting up at? I suppose it's a little too late to be asking this, but for everyone who goes to Barrett on Friday nights; I think it's time we decide on a new spot to meet before and after we go out on the streets.

ouch.... cops towed his car for racing? screw barrett. meet at the publix on cobb pkwy. north on cobb pkwy till you see the 2nd qt from barrett. then thru a few lights, look on left for the publix. theres alot of tiny backroads for racing there.

yeah lets go to the publix. I talked to the owner of the property (a friend) and he said its fine as long as no one does antyhing stupid. If the cops come just tell them "Gary Membis" said that you had permission to be there and if he had any problems to call the owner of the property (gary).

If the guy is on private property, the cop overstep his bounds legally. You do not have to have DOT approved tires if you are not on a public road. The car should be tagged and insured if outside and not on a trailer, that's all.

I am a noob here at Import Atanta, and hope to find some meet spots. I live in Dalton Ga and no one seems to hang out around here no more. And I've heard barret is the shit. So could anyone give me the 411 on where eveyone meets. So I could check it out.

Wow Dalton Ga is way out there. Sat. night the BP station in gwennett is where I go. I goggle maped it from dalton to the BP and its 99+/-miles and about an hour drive.

I agree. Why can't we find a nice secluded spot to meet. I like going up to Barrett every once and a while because it's close to my house and sometimes I just don't have anything better to do. But why can't we just find a spot far from the main roads to meet up at. I know there has to be a spot somewhere.

And are you talking about the Publix at the intersection of Jiles and Cobb Parkway?

Way to go NOOB, if you say there is a car show at US Play, why don't you give us more details. I might be interested in going, but being that you left out all the major info, such as Time, cost, classes, I have no clue what to expect. So basically I will have to say... :umno:

But if you do find out more info, it would be helpful to everyone else on here, you know the ones that actually know how to make a post about a car show. :slap:

Racing wise, if you turned onto 41 from barret and went left toward the big chicken, pass bells ferry and right after that there is an office park on the left that goes quite back, no one there at night, no security. Nice long double lane road, distance wise its over a 1/8 probably a 1/4. We used to go out there here and there to watch and fuck around.

But I agree the place has gotten lame. The burnouts and stupid shit just gets the cops mad and we all get kicked out, split up between taco bell and Dicks and shit goes downhill from there. Now, fights are breakin out every night and just useless bulshit.
We all need to get along. End of story.
