try reading the thing when you registered that said you had to be 18 to be on the site...

Other than that, Boosted GSR, wheels, and a drop

-Most noticable thing would be to lower it and get some rims, then just focus on what u want speed or looks and go for it.....

save some money, GSR swap and boost. you want a sleeper, you wont do it on that single cam unless you got $$$$$

Just a comment, you may be better off selling the black one and just buying a white one. If you want to get it painted right (being that it's an entirely different color) it'll probably end up costing you more than the car is worth.

haha ... :umno: this car as it is its a good $6-$7,000. i know for damn sure a paint job aint that expencive.

Alright, so it's not going to cost quite that (didn't pay attention to what year the car was), but you're looking at a full paint job here. That means the engine bay and all the door jams. For a decent paint job I'd say it's going to be at least a couple grand. I'm just saying it costs more to change the color of a car than to just get it repainted the same color, thats all.

you can do the type-r in it... it may be tight.. i know someone that has a type-r 94 civic hatch

C-loS109
07-15-2007, 10:47 PM
haha yeah your probably right. black with bronze rims sound good. yeah NSC ur truck probably does. and i probably want to do the type-r since its got close to 200 HP and the GSR got like 170 but its a better fit. so i dont know

you seem to just be agreeing with what everyone has said.. first u said h22 then gsr now type-R. make your own decision for your self.. if no one likes it oh well you invested your money and your time so fuck everyones opinion.

w/ that being said. it all depends on what amount of money you have to work with. swap can get costly especially if you are having someone else do it for you.

personnally, and this is just my own opinion, what I would do is a drop and some wheels. forget all the bolt ons on your stock d series because well just face it, it will still be slow so no point in wasting your money on I/H/E...

wheels, lip, coilovers, boost (on a dohc motor)

i know im agreeing to what everyone is saying. im a noob and this is my first project. thats the point of this thread. get opinions from people that may have already done the things i have in mind. i always thought an h22 would be good. but no. i talked to 2.0 civic, and told me that it would be heavier and would've giving me alot of understeer. but if i wanted the h22 to research for the h2b swap. which cost alot. so i didnt want to go that way anymore. then a couple of the feedback i got said the gsr would be a better way to go. so i research it. and yes it could be. but i also research the type-r.maybe i like that one better. the paint. yes i wanted it white. but DeweyWRX was right. its an enitrely different color. im better of painting it the same color. i value everybody's opinion, if its a better idea of what i have in mind. why not go that way. and i seriously dont care if my car cant beat and sti or an g35 or a 350z. i just care about getting everything i can out of my car. making it look good and better then the average civic and being proud and taking pride of the car. that's just my opinion.

thanks for the feedback.

I say lower it, get a front lip, do a LS VTEC w/boost and that will give you the power for a little less $$$

Boost the single!! I wish i wouldve done that from the start but my mind was all clouded with b-seriousness..Anyways, boost it make the factory exhaust manifold fit, run the charge piping thru the stock airbox and intake pipe and keep the BOV in the airbox, E-cutout exhaust, painted black intercooler.
