I know that I've used Volvo turbos of the diesel trucks before on a Supra. So Im sure it would have value to someone. All depends on who is looking at the time. If I was going turbo instead of supercharged I would be interested.

Also, some of the muscle car guys on here may be interested.

that thing is probably made to run like 50lbs. of boost or more. I mean look at how large the turbine size is opposed to the compressor side. That thing is made for some serious exhaust flow.

Is that one of the variable vane ones? I know I've seen some subaru's and 240's with them. Not sure of the model they were using though.

its viable on a small motor. there really is no difference between diesel turbos and gasoline except for boost levels. but that is as eavy as wastegate changes. so, therein, the only problem with installing that onto any small car is the engine size. that big motherfucker won't spool till way late in the powerban. whereas something like a t3/t4(huge for small cars like ours) is made to spool much quicker. you could prolly sell that thing for somewhere around $500.

damn extended tip nice i know some supra owners run turbos from that company but not sure if this is the exact model either way depending on cost could be a killer deal for someone.

That Dodge Ram turbo starts to be in it's effiency range around 30 psi and just get better from there. I wouldn't put that on anything under 2 litres though.

GL on the sale, bro :goodjob:

I had to steal his quote :D

you can probably change the exhaust housing to something smaller and put it on a smaller engine. I wouldn't run it on anything under 2 liters. That being said, if you've got built internals, run it. As blackshine said above, they dont' really get efficient till after 30psi. Get some built internals and run about 35ish psi and you will have a very fun turbo.

Oh and this is a variable vane turbo, so you will have to figure out something to drive the vanes. I forget if this system uses gas or a solenoid to control them. Google is your friend in this case.

I'm tossing a holset onto my car. We'll see how that one does.
