Mmk, so my and my friend (same one that drew my tat) went to the lake and were screwing around, took a few pics, and a few vids. Mostly pics though. Constructive criticism welcome:

(We went to Dairy Queen first)

Yea, I didn't figure out how to get the stamp off until later in the day. And that "fence" is the table outside by Dairy Queen.

Ice-cream ftw.

Honestly, the fence one is the coolest one out of them. I like how it looks. Later, QD.

Just nothing to really look at, besides the table! More Practice!

The first rock picture is cool. What kind of camera, lens setup are you using. Judging by the time stamp it is a point and shoot could be wrong.

Canon sd450, and very much a point and shoot. Figured i'd practice with this before investing in a nicer one.

Just keep at it. work on finding odd things or stuff that sticks out, like the photo that got the most attention was the macro shot of the bench from DQ. See how that works.

I very very very seldom give any critiques at all because I'm nobody to be giving them, but to echo something that Rush said:

Always remember composition. The picture can be more interesting if you have some kind of purpose to it. Just because you can take a sharp picture of a dust particle, doesn't necessarily make that picture an interesting picture. Follow what I'm saying? Just remember that a picture is trying to portray something that your eyes see/saw. Most interesting pics make the viewer say, "wow, where was that at?" or "cool, how'd you do that?" or "nice shot of _________".

Practice, Practice, Practice, and then Practice some more. That's the only way to get what you see in your mind's eye onto any type of medium. :goodjob:

Jamie, you have all the right to Critique. You do good work and have some sweet shots!

I agree with Rush and Jamie... I'm not a pro or even close to it, but you have to find something that will make the picture come alive. As cheesy as that sounds, it's true. Try and find something intriguing or that catches an individual's attention. You'll get better though with time!
