NEED HELP ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok i drive an 2001 eclipse spyder gt 5spd. with 100k miles on it i got into the car this morning to go look for a job rolled down the drivway and when i went to go turn the wheel i noticed that i had no powering steering so i looked at my dummy lights and saw that my check engine light was on and the battery light and brake light were blinking so i drove down my road and the powering steering was going in and out but the worst part tha car had absolutly no power i had to get a running start just to make it up my driveway its like the timming was off and the only reason i say that is cause i had an integra where the timming had advanced it self, but its not constant so when i finally got up the drivway i popped the hood checked the timming belt its not broken checked the powering steering belt its good and i have powersteering fluid so i restarted it and it ran like crap for about 15 seconds then died so i pulled the spark plugs and the tips where kinda white and it has some carbon buid up and checked the oil its a little low but nothing to panic about, now the only mods i have done is a AEM CAI and evo2 catback and short shifter now i bought the car whit 85K miles and drove it back and forth from north carolina to georgia for the past 4 months and i have had no problems and do belive the timming belt has not been done and i have changed the plugs or wires the only things i have done to it is regular oil change, coolant flush, and thermostat but all that has been awhile ago any help will be greatly appreciated

should get that timing belt done asap.

you can pop off your upper timing cover, get your motor to TDC, and make sure your valve timing is correct and nothing jumped a tooth.

i'm pretty sure those cars are map sensor, and they tend to come apart. we've also replaced a couple of those cam/crank angle sensors. see if it's misfiring, you can just let it run and pull the plug wires off 1 by 1 so you can see if it's got a cylinder that's not firing/ and which cylinder it is to then determine if it's not getting fuel/spark/compression.

Sounds almost like the computar or something cause why would the brake light be blinking? You could have jumped timing too, I would reset your battery and see what happens, check your timing, spark, and alternator, and if you can get it to any parts store to see what codes its throwing.... IDK just throwing this out their.....

thanks for the posts guys but found the problem i did a little research and found that the 3.0 have a recall on the crank pulley comes lose for no reason:screwy: and thats what happened so everything is good but just had to replace the belts
