What type of racing do you do in the volvo. I know that they can make good power but I was under the impression that they were heavy.

Mostly HPDE. I am now at HPDE4 as of last month. they are not that heavy but the AWD, huge brakes and lots of power help alot. Also, if you know how to make good lines, the weight is so much less of an issue:goodjob:

I learned more from driving my stock jetta 1.8T 5 speed then my volvo with more HP then 99% of all IA cars. When I got into NASA and HPDE, the volvo was simply too much car for me. the jetta is slow and easy to drive and breaks loose much easier. This taught me to learn things like what lines to use, how to brake, how to heal/toe etc, etc. Power means nothing till you can do these things.
