How is everyone?? I have been in Hilton Head all week.I just got back today. So how was everyone's week? Mine wasn't all that great. I got severely burned the next day there. It was like 2nd degree burn or worse. It's on my left shin. OMG!! Has anyone ever really gotten burnt there? Never have until now and I hope I never will again!!! I hear thats one of the worst parts to get burnt. Still trying to heal. And it made my whole leg swell and you couldn't even see my ankle. So I pretty much layed around putting my leg up. So I was wondering how ya'lls week was? And what was the worse place you have ever gotten burnt before??

Oh yes,I know what it feels l like... Last year I got sun poisoned on my arms, and it was soooooooooooo disgusting,,, the blisters were like 2 inches high and about 3 inches wide..went to the doctor and got a shot... and some type of cream........ it took forever for it to heal... so I feel your pain....


as for Hilton Head, I havent been in a very long time ... but i loved it :)

lol being a red head and alll.... Ive gotten sun poisining almost 2 yrs ago on pretty much most of my body. I was only out in the sun for 30 min and it was the 2nd day that I was at the beach.

Im lucky, i dont really get sunburnt. I have that skin that just tans very easily and loves the sun. I can get burnt but it still looks like a tan w/ a little bit of redness, it can still hurt like sh.t though.

hahaha yup, been there im guessin walker?

nice place- not a big fan of hilton head but it was a free vacation so i went. restuarants out there suck ass tho, no good seafood either!

I have NO FREAKIN idea!!! Its weird because my left shin got fried and my right arm!!! I dont get how it skipped my right leg and left arm!! I DID put sunscreen on everywhere!! TWICE!!! Crazy stuff!!

I was sun poisoned while in the Bahamas in Dec on most of my body. Sunscreen doesn't work for me. I had to get a couple of shots and like Leisa said it took forever to heal, alomst 2 weeks to heal completely.

For the ones that say "dark" ppl don't have to worry about it, reality check. I am black. LOL I usually get burned whenever I am in the sun (Jamaica, Florida, dtuck in traffic w/ sun beaming on my arm, etc) but that was the first time it was ever that bad.

yea!! It really sux!! I had blisters and its pealing now, I still look like a reptile. lol I got some cream for burns a few days ago and has helped. But yea, I had the blisters. I didnt want to go anywhere and have people stare. Oh well!! Didnt care that much for that, still went out here and there!!

Yup, exectly!!! I have fair skin, and was out for like an hour.

I stayed around Folly Field area. I stayed at The Island Club at Seawatch!

Yea, I stayed really close to that. And around Hilton Head Plantation. Wow!! We could have had our own IA party down at the beach!!!! And where did ya'll go to watch the fireworks? I went to Harbour Town!

WOW!!! Ouch!!! Sorry!! But I hear ya! This happend like 5 weeks ago. I went to the Rennasiance Festival(was supposed to rain) and didnt put sunscreen on. And was fried on my chest and blistered. Its still peeling a little on my shoulder. And still pink. WILL THIS EVER END??? Cant wait till fall comes around.

i think hilton head is a great place to play golf....otehr than that i will always go to somewhere else to party hehe....hope you had a good time though.
