i'm sure you guys have seen this done before, but just wondering what your opinions were about it.
i've been reallllllly thinking about doing it with my car because the 1994 & up body style are my absolute favorite, but i'm too much of a broke ass to own one, so i figure this would be somewhat the next best thing to it. lol
so, anyway.
just curious what you guys thought about it. :]

if you want a 94 dont convert you car into it, just fuckin buy one.

it wont look the same.

i hate integras unless they have the JDM front end on them. DA JDM Front end > DC USDM front end.

i dont like it.

^^I'm going to have to agree completely.

Either 1) Sell your car and buy a 94
or 2) Step up and get a JDM front clip

It's not going to be worth the time, money, or hassle to do what you are thinking about.

your going to mess up the the classic wedge shape lines on the DA Integra, and plus its going to look disgusting anyway. save your money for something else, for example put your money in your engine which probably needs it.

i kinda like the usdm front on the da ive never seen that before jdm dc yeah and the jdm da yeah i have too but the usdm one looks kinda good i say go for it bro if you want to

Why would you want to put a DC front end on your DA? That just looks stupid. Same thing with the S15 front end on a S13. The body lines don't flow with either combination.

Deke
07-06-2007, 07:36 PM
Yeah, after seeing the pic of the yellow car, definitely do NOT do that swap. Body lines don't flow at all.

Honestly, it's your car so you can do it if you really think it looks good. No one else is going to be driving it around so what does it matter to anyone else? We all got our opinions, whether they're good or bad, but don't let that REALLY determine what you do with YOUR car.

thank you Chris

That red one with the JDM type R headlights in it does look pretty hot though, but that is because it doesn't take away from the original lines of the car.

Plus I <3 JDM Type R headlights. :D

well my car looks like hell to begin with...
plus, it's gonna be a while until i can get this done so i'll have a while to think about it.
jdm conversions are sexy as hell.
but EVERYBODY has that, & i don't like being like everyone else.
you don't have to hate on me though! :(

I'm not hating on you, but don't you think there is a reason everyone has it? It works and looks kick ass.

But you don't have to believe me. I've only been doing this since 96. ;)

Yeah, no hate here. I'm just trying to save you time and money :)

But as others have said, do what makes you happy. There are a number of modified cars out there that I don't care for but others think look amazing. It's all up to you.

Personally, I like the 98-01 front over the JDM!

Amazing how making the same lines of the front fascia more agressive can do to an already existing design (97 Teg compared to a 98)

if you do it right, it can and will look good and flow together. what is the real reason nobody likes this conversion idea?

because it looks good from that point of view....

because spending the time & money on doing this conversion will make it look even cleaner, darling. & a lot more unique than all of the overrated jdm shit going on these days. :screwy:

its fun to me.It takes a full weekend if you do it straight through and not like it cost much to clean but that's what sets a car apart from others...even if it's 100% stock.
