Not sure where else to post this.......If I have the VIN of a car, is there a way to look up who a previous owner was? I already ran the Carfax report.
I have a car I might buy and the guy selling it said he bought the car from an auction. He didn't know why the car was at an auction so I wanted to see if I could find the previous owner and see why the car went to an auction. The car doesn't appear wrecks or anything. Any ideas?
