I ended up putting a 6 speed in it. So far it is fun as hell. Feel's alot quicker also and pulls much harder than the auto.So I am ready, just say who and where!:boobies:

Just got back from driving around and playing with the clutch and trying to figure out the sweet spot's. I tell ya,I also installed the new torque arm and that helped out alot. At 4000rpm or so in 2nd I can hammer it and the car hook's.My buddy in the other car riding with me was very impressed as was I.Definatly pull's hard. It is like another car!!!
I won't be dissapointed at the track. I know the et will slow down but that is ok.
It is not a track car only. The 6 speed I can enjoy driving it almost anywhere if we choose.

When I say I am getting on it, I am not power shifting or anything like that,or side stepping it. I just get it into boost and granny shift it and so on.Drove around on it red light to redlight for about 2 hr's tonight also.It won't be seated until the wekkened. I plan on driving alot for the up coming weekend.

Chris, if you were blowing thru your old converter at the track, it may now be the same or faster than it was. Glad you are running again. In first gear, when are you at full boost? With that t-6 1.32 a/r, i dont usually see full boost in first on the street....not enuff load. I put a smaller wg spring in so my wife can run it down the track...now i can go down to like 6.5 psi

Have to talk to Jerry about what is all involved with putting the 80e in.I can sell you the 80e as a core because it need's to freshened up.Probably around $650.00 or so.

Honestly, I havn't gottin into it in 1st gear yet,but 2nd gear it actually seem's to start bulding boost earlier then it did with the auto.i going driving around later to play with it. It is going to take some getting used to.
