I've bought a house off Whitehead Rd. and would like to rent a room. It's a 3br/1.5ba brick ranch on a half acre lot in the back of a subdivision. The house has a lot of room and a nice spacious kitchen if you like to cook as much as I do. There's also a screened porch in the back yard and a one car garage.
About Me: 28 yr old professional that works in north Athens. Very laid back and easy to get along with (so i've heard!). I'm clean, though not anal about it. I'm not going to test the house with a white glove. I like to relax at home during the week and occasionally go out on the weekend, and will pretty much stay out of your business.
You: Should be tidy and have a reliable source of income. Respect me and my space and i'll do the same in return. No drugs and if you smoke, you'll have to do so outside.
That being said, i'm asking $350 for the room plus 1/2 the utilities. I'm taking possession of the house on July 31, so it will be available as soon as then. I'd like a one year lease, though a shorter one may be negotiable. Please let me know if you're interested!
