One of two men shot early Friday morning at the International House of Pancakes restaurant on Pleasant Hill Road in Gwinnett County died of his injuries.

Police said the person who opened fire, shooting the men, fled the scene and has not been identified. The shooting took place near the front entrance of the Duluth restaurant about 3:30 a.m.

Both victims were transported by emergency crews to Gwinnett Medical Center. The second victim is expected to survive.
