1992 sentra se-r with a sr20ve. I must pick the hottest day (103.6deg  ) to go dyno but whatever.

Only mods is the header, though it still has the stock sentra exhaust so Im not sure how much the header added if any with the 1.XX" exhaust. Next dyno will be with N1 camshafts, 3"exhaust, and Alum. Crank pulley. Should be over 200whp but we'll see;)

Can't wait to see it modded.

Should be about a month before I get all this stuff for it, so get yours running good before then!

Its faster then it looks too, depending what ecu you use. My ecu has a shitty 7100rev limit, and most will make about 10whp extra from 7100-8000. As you can see the graph is climbing then BAM it gets shut down lol. So expecially after cams, bumping the revlimit to 8k is definately something I would have to do.

i heard the calumsult ecu is a great upgrade. its a basic tune (not mod specific from what i hear) so its a VVL start and then tune with a piggyback i guess. that where i plan on starting cause i have the gay 115 speed limiter (cuts wrist) and i know thats going to get annoying really quick

Nice...Is the VE just the stock se-r motor?

no the se-r's came with sr20DE's this is a VE (neo VVL) basically nissan invented vvl before vtec..honda posers and still couldn't get it right :D

i'd also like to point out that nissan held the record for HP per litre til the introduction of the S2000 (pulsar VZ-R, SR16VE N1 look it up honda kids, nissan ftw) :bump:

^^^ Yeah thats an good option. I contacted calum about removing the stock rev limit and speed limit on the ve ecu, but he did not know how. But a shop in Australia contacted me an they do the ve ecu's and will take off the speed/rev limit and tune it to the mods for like 300-350 shipped. So I think Im gonna give them a shot. Unless I find a Power FC for a Pulsar Gtir for sale ;)

i'll keep my ears open, i usually get hits on the jdm ish all the time. i'm just going to run my S-afc II for the minute, i'm sure one day if i wanna seriously screw around with it i'll get something better, but right now it'll be on DD duty. just enough to laugh at type R's and all that lol

The pulsar sr16ve N1 has 197hp from the factory so that is 123.125hp per L. > then s2000's 120

to my knowledge yes. i'll have to double check... brb it was theorized before it was implimented i know that. much like their CVT's

I think Honda came up vtec first. Nissan had vvt or something like that back in the day.

lol yeah i know lol i was like what!? cars are coming with CTC>!>!>! cinnamon toast crunch equip dispensing units in every car w00 h00! man i <3 teh USA! then i realized it was just a funky transmission.... sigh i cried a tear....

yes VET ftw! There are some guys with built blocks running some major boost hitting 500's with it, i know its not B18 super awesome i had to sleeve my block and hone and give my Vtec solenoid a blowjob so it won't blow up cause its weak to hold this boost. but hey VVL makes torque, Vtec makes noise :D

yes but the bomb diggity thing about VVL is that unlike vtec we can change our cam points independently :D intake side 4200, exhaust side 4700 :D go nissan... :bump: hehehe i'm sorry i'm getting my honda hate out in the open i've held it in too long lol

TheSnail

VVL alters the cam's lift individualy rather then then Honda's both at the same rpm. Correct me if Im wrong. Im not too sure if vtec can be can be set so you can control each camshaft.

hehehe i just said that but yeah i can't remember either but i'm pretty sure Vtec is a one rpm setting. no intake and exhaust independence
