im gonna buy a new or used car..and i was wandering what would be good to get for what i want to spend! if u could help me out and just let me know what you guys think! if u recommend something tell me a little about it and why!

most likely rear wheel drive but fwd might be considered you know!
im looking to spend about 18k!!

First, of all imports all day. Second do some research find what you like. I have seen 03 Altezza's going for $13,000 03 maxima's for $14-15,000. It all depends on what you are going to do; is it going to be a daily driver? Network and find someone with a dealers license that can get you into an auction. It can be risky but sometimes it can be worth it. If you spend $5,000 you will have money left over for upgrades or just tune-up, tires, full check-up or whatever else you need. I have seen 350z's going for $7,000 at an auction. If i had $18,000 i would buy one and put an RB in it, but thats me. Think about what you are going to do and make a reasonable decision. You definately don't want to spend the whole $18 on a car. Spend $13-14 and hold on to the rest for anything that might come up. I had to learn the hard way I bought a car and three months later lost my gig and had a note to pay for. I wish I just payed it off within 6-8 months that way it would have been good for my credit but i wouldn't be stuck with a car note.

^ yea i understand wat your saying. im not goin to spend all of it on the car. just giving some range on the price of what i would buy! i was thinking about an is300.. get a turbo kit, big brakes and suspension and then i would be set for awhile you know!

im not really into rx7`s... or mr2`s or celicas! good cars but
im 6'3'' and i drove a mr2 and that was the tightest ride of my life! my legs were all up on the side of the steering lol.. felt lik a go-kart from Malibu! and it was 5spd...ugh! damn!

Being 6'3 can be a problem I am 6'3 myself and I have to think about the cars i get. I would look stupid getting out of a small car. I am looking into getting that 03 maxima i was telling you about earlier. Its not to many around that are done right in ATL. Im not sure if I could shift gears in a z32.
