140 is about all your gonna squeeze out of a SVT with stock power. The Focus isnt exactly aerodynamic and the hatchback has the worst drag coefficent (sp?) of any of the foci. The wagon has the lowest drag coefficent.

well ryans accord was an EX, mine is an LX the lx's have speed governors/fuel cut whatever you wanna call it. it hits at like 115-116. i was only at like 4,000 rpm. but theres no way he got to 145, the accords don't have enough power to go faster than 135ish.

91 mr2 turbo 130 ( very tall tires, that rubbed when against the bottom of the shock, the faster you go, (centrifical force) which kept me from going any faster, be cause I was leaving a bunch of tire smoke behind me after 100.

Same 240 with diff engine. 150+ on 75. ( bumpy roads, and crappy tires, and the car not having seat belts in it kept me from wanting to go any faster.)

Current 240- 135 but used $20 H-rated tires kept me from wanting to go any faster. ( though on the dyno in 5th (6spd) it hit 147 ;)

Out of my cars, the MR2 and the Stealth were by far the most stable, and going 100 is like going 60. Even though my 2 main 240's would go 160+ , at that speed in a 240 you better hold the fuck on and not blink.

I'll tell you this: different cars have different "off" factors. It depends on many variables...such as wheel size, calibration, etc.

The thing about it is this: the faster you go, the more "off" the speedo is. There is an exponential increase instead of a linear one.

Hey guys thought it would be kinda cool to "update" if we went any faster in the past year.

Mine is 125-130 in the Z did it with top up and top down before. Its weird with the top down though. I usually let off quiet fast because I think I will lose control cause of the non-aerodynamicness (SP) of having no top.

GSXR750 With spray 194mph bouncing the rev in 6th gear.
GSXR1000 Turbo 198mph Bouncing the rev in 6th gear
Turbo'd BUSA 209mph and had plenty more room to work with but it got there so damn quick it scared my ass.

It has a 50 shot on it so let just say it only gives u maybe 35 to the wheel thats 174hp to the wheel at that kinda weight. BTW these are indicated speeds because i dont have a speedo healer on my bikes and have never ran one so maybe i was running actual speed of 180 thats still fucking 180mph. And as far as the GSXR1000 Turbo'd hell it had 214hp to the wheel and the BUSA had 340hp.
