ok i just bought a head unit. it came with no pigtail? so where could i get one or how do i kno which one is right? its a jenson cd player

well if it was made within the last couple of years you can get one at circuit city it'll be about $20 but if you want the easy way out spend another 20 and get the harness for your car and they come out to a universal plug so there would be no connecting any wires or anything.

well i mean i was gonna buy the harness but i figured i needed the pigtail also right?

well the thing that plugs into the back.

with the power, ground and speaker outputs? if so thats what im talking about. when we install radios at circiut city we use special wiring harnesses that just clip together one plugs into the radio and one plugs into the car side. they work awesome and make it so much easier. I would just put some zip ties around the universal plug between the two.

ya but i cant even find a harness for my car? i can find ones for nissan 95 and up but mines a 93 altho it might not matter

MET-70-1763, or if you have a factory amp in the car its a MET-70-1764, and just ask for the jensen radio smart harness.

so this plugs into the back of the cd player and to the stock plugs or what lol dman im dumb.

one will plug into the back of the CD player (Jensen Smart harness) and the MET-70-1763 will plug into the car wiring that was unpluged from the back of the stock radio.

i had a hell of a time installing a head unit into my 240 for some reason...i had to run the power wire into one of the fuses
