Mr. Kidds New ride

Well i got rid of all my 2J 240 parts (most of them) and kinda hung up the whole "fast car" thing for awhile.

Ill build something else eventually but all i want right now is a clean and good looking reliable ride.

Heres what i settled on. After alot of thinking, this is the only car that really made me happy. I have had my eye on it for a long time and im glad i could finally pick it up.

You may remember the previous owner, Brian aka SilviaDriftr. He an Turbo Dave/TDF built this car an ran it for a long time. It was very dear to both of them so i promised i would take care of it.

Props to Turbo Dave and Brian for keeping the car almost immaculate and the car is very solid.

The car actually makes around 400whp now, but ill prob end up ditching everything to put a stock Red top SR back into it. I really dont want anything fast an i havent even boost on it yet.

The wheels are the same ones off the Batlground Drift cars so maybe i can drift with them now :)

it came with the 300zx, aem, tein, everything.

Brian made me a good deal.

again, ill prob end up ditching everything for a stock red top SR with 220whp upgrades.

In the next few months ill get some paint on it an fix the little dings.

This event will include a tandem competition and NOPI Drift licensing, however all drivers are welcome. Our course layout and schedule will cater to both beginner and advanced drivers. We will have single run/open practice from 9:00 until 4:30. We expect that everyone will get 20-30 practice runs before we get into qualifying. This is a large amount of seat-time for everyone even if you don't expect to qualify for the competition (you still get to tun in qualifying since qualifying is run in the same manner as practice).

I remember when Brian got that car a few years back as well. It was a far cry from his kitted out accord with the H22 swap. I also remember him and turbo dave terrorizing the streets back then giving the v8 guys fits. I'm glad that the car could go to someone who will take care of it. and hondas are boring TO ME at this point, ive done alot with them and no honda really excites me anymore.

The only honda i would ever consider building again would be my old NA CRX, the black one , that only a few on here remember anymore.

I was close to doing a turbo honda, but never finished it an went with the 2J 240 build.

Building a 400-500-600+ whp FWD to me just doesnt make sense since i dont race them like other people do (spoolin, danny, peter, etc).

The only turbo honda i would ever do would be a mild D series for the money. i dont see sinking $10,000 into a FWD swapped car when i can make 350whp in my silvia an be just as fast.

but its all about preference, an i prefer 240s now
