My DC after BP!!!

I went to BP on the 23rd (saturday). On my way home there was a Sti and that same SRT4 doing some runs. They kept trying to do digs in the middle of the highway. After they finished a few others tried some dig runs on the highway. I got a chance to pass them so i can get going home. I passed all the cars and was way ahead of them. I reached down to hold my girlfriend's hand and told her i loved her. When i looked up all i saw was a pair of H.I.Ds. before i could realize whats going on SMACK!!! The fucking Sti hit me at over 120mph. My friend said he was running a scion and he was going about 120mph and the sti passed him. Right when he passed my friend he rearended me and put me into a wall. I was travelling at 70mph. Ive been in the hospital for 2 days along with my girlfriend. The Sti driver was smiling as if nothing happened. They arrested him and put him in the police car. The abulance took my girlfriend straight to the hospital. After talking to the cops everything looked good and they said he will do time. All of a SUDDEN THEY TOOK ME TO FUCKING JAIL. Good thing i had enough to bail myself out that morning. Note that i was in pain and i was in handcuffs. The cops didnt care about how i was feeling. They gave me a ticket for RACING and IMPROPER LANE CHANGE. I got a lawer to fight the case for me set for september. As far as the Sti driver i will be suing for me and my girl's medical bills, the bail money, pain and suffering, my car, and other stuff that may come up. Good thing we are both alive and were able to walk away !!!

I had a run in with Suwannee Cops near there (you said 985, right? I was on Sattelite Running Parallel to 985). I was stopped at a traffic light, no revving nothing. My friend was coming to a rolling stop, however the light turned green.....

I hit the gas, he gets on it (not flooring it by any means). We both have louder exhausts (still under legal limit) and they tried to get us for racing...funny shit is they tagged him going well under 60mph and I never broke 50. They arrested him none the less, cussed me out after turning of their radios too. What a bunch of fucking pigs those guys were. They left fingerprints all over my damn car and they arrested my friend for NOTHING. Wreckless driving.....my ass. He even used his blinker to change lanes and get infront of me, he didn't even see the damn cop. They cited him for 4 bald tires, funny thing is, his tires are stickier then mine.

Goodluck on a speedy recovery to you two as well as getting this guy man, I'm sure the cops will help you out once they realize you were not racing, if they ever get that through their damn heads. Thats some ultimately fucked up shit, take that cop to court as well as the STi driver. Make sure he won't be anywhere near anytihng but a Honda Civic LX for the next 20 years untill he can handle something more powerful.

He got caught up in the net. Cops see a hot car (yes even a stock STI is considered hot) get in an accident and they assumed, since his car was so nice and tricked out, that he just HAD to be racing as well. So they arrested him as well. The subie guy probably didn't tell them otherwise so they arrested him "Just in case" he had anything to do with it. When he passed them, the Subie guys friends probably told the cops that he was racing them.

Thats how it goes down. The only problem are these:
1. You said the cop put down that you were racing? Your insurance probably won't cover it, his probably won't either. So you are going to have to sue him whether you want to or not.
2. Racing once again will not win any sympathy points in court with the judge. What you need to do is get the charge changed or at best, dropped. then you can go on with the rest of it.

The cop putting racing on there will screw you over more ways than you can think. Especially in this day and time. Either way, glad you are ok and sad to see your car get the shit end of the stick because I really liked that car. So nice and clean and the color was sweet. Good luck on it.
