with the size of IA, there's a good chance this forum can rack in some money from this event. I mean, there's so many high caliper cars in this area.

dam looks like fun...is the autocross area gonna be that small? it looks small on the layout. how far is rockingham from atl?

I went to HS in Roswell, GA before moving to NC for school. I have known Brett and Julio for years. I would love to get a bunch of hot Atl rides coming over to our humble state for the weekend. Rockingham is 320 miles from Atlanta or about 5 hours.

The autocross area isnt small, you are using the drifting competition parking lot and another big lot to the north, it should be a really fun run. Plus there arent too many opportunities to autocross in front of a big crowd and compete for money. They ran another really popular SCCA autocross in the same area a couple years ago.

Wow. It seems the geniuses of NC have graced the board. I've been all over NC and will be for the next several weeks nothing but shit over there. Loud, ugly, falling apart, half primered pieces of shit. Very well representative of your state. I might add that a few of them had the ever popular importsnc sticker on them. Later, QD.

I think he was trying to say that there are many high caliper cars in Atlanta. Most cars that you see driven on the road everyday are going to be mildly or poorly modified. There are a lot of nice rides in NC as well, you just have to find out where they are hanging out.

First off, it's caliber. Lolol. And I'm pretty sure he was taking a "subliminal" shot at IA. Later, QD.

You must not know Bowie. He has a lot of respect for IA, as to do I. Thanks for correcting my spelling, but it is lol not laugh out loud out loud. I see one of those riced out importsnc stickers on a Celica in this months issue of Modified. But this thread has nothing to do with importsnc or the caliber of cars you happen to focus on during your trip to North Carolina, so back on topic please.

DYNO WARS at SpeedFed Nationals

On Saturday, BRMS, will be presenting their mobile dyno unit for anyone who thinks they have what it takes to be, 'Dyno King or Queen'! Six classes will be competing for DYNO SUPREMACY! The classes layout like this:

1) 4 Cylinder All-Motor
2) 6 Cylinder All-Motor
3) 8+ Cylinder All-Motor
4) 4 Cylinder Forced Induction
5) 6 Cylinder Forced Induction
6) 8+ Cylinder Forced Induction

Each car will be given only TWO dyno pulls to try and stretch their car(s) to the limits!

Best of All, each class winner will receive $150.00 for a total prize pool of $900.00!

So, not only will you be able to run your car down the 1320 but you can dyno your car and get an accurate HP figure for those time slips! Rarely does it get any better than that!

Registration for the Dyno War will begin when the gates open on Saturday. Each participant/vehicle will be required to pay $35.00 for his or her entry fee into the dyno contest. This should be a blast to watch and participate in!! Remember, sign-up early to avoid the long lines and hassle.
