How do I make it? What do I use? Where's it at in HD?
How much will this crap cost?

The one that I have seen is the stuff that's used on the bottom of walls. It's like the industrial plastic floor trim.
Honestly, I've only seen it look decent once. Most of the time it looks like a cheap ass home made lip from home depot.

It'll be found in the Outside Lawn & Garden department. It's lawn edging. Doesn't cost more than 10 dollars for the length you'll need. As to put it on, there's several ways, easiest would be to screw it on, but the screws will be noticeable. Areas where it'll be attached to curves will flare out more. So I'd recommend just spending 70 dollars on ebay for a lip that'll flow better.

Go with a real lip dude...its not worth the 50 bucks you save. It will be a lot of work for nothing but rice. Do what you want though.

I have no money for a 'real' lip. Normally I wouldn't do it, just want to experiment. I already have screw holes from a previous lip in my front bumper anyways.
Thanks guys.

My E30 had something like that. It always seems to look better on cars that are really squared off. Like somebody mentioned previously, it flares out on cars that are rounded and looks kind of awkward. I've been thinking about getting a real lip for my Miata but can't justify spending $150 for a part that'll get ripped off and mangled on our wonderful Atlanta roads.
Go cheap, it'll have the same effect, and you won't be puckered up every time you go over a bump or into a parking lot waiting for the crunch. :goodjob:

True!
You could always make the HD lip, then fiberglass over it to make a shell, sand accordingly, make sure it fits good, then spray it with a dark rhino lining so its gets some solidity to it :dunno:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Just buy a civic EX lip, they are like 70$ and take 5 minutes to install. Your car will look better without a lip rather than WALL TRIM!!!!
