from tonight at eatington or whatever the shitty ass track is. went to see if i could get better 60 ft and 1/8 mile time by trying to lanch my car little higher in the RPM range.

114 oct, 28psi and 225/50/15 BFG DR's

good burn in the waterbox and lanched between 3 and 4K

spun a lil out the hole and hooked hard in 1st gear and didnt spin 2nd at all.

took a 05 STI out the hole and walked his ass down the track, same went for the BUILT 4.6 stang :D

u really got to heat them up. the BFG's arent that sticky when compared to ET streets, which i wish i could run but wont clear on my car without coilovers.

the only reason i dont spin that much is that i dont make much power till 4k, so it really doesnt have much to do with the tires it has to do more where my powerband is at. BUT i was launching at allmost 4 :???:

yeah that was my reason to going to the 1/8 mile track was to work on my 60fts and i felt like i was doing better its just, dude, u dont understand, that track, it sucks, like really bad, lol.

don't heat up the DR's, unless you had to get water on them. As far as what RPM's to launch at, 3K works for me but I'm also in boost leaving the line. I've read on the forums of some people riding the clutch a little.
