Atlanta Dragway Meet (Athens Area) July 6th

DATE PUSHED UP TO THE 13TH OF JULY

Here we go. I have had the idea to do it for awhile. Admission is 10 bucks at the gate to watch the racing and 20 bucks to race. I am thinking we ride up from Athens at maybe 6:30 and arrive there around 7:30. There is a Sonic before you get to the track so we can grab some grub:goodjob: then go in and line the cars up in the parking lot and chill and watch some racing. For those brave enough to put their cars out....go for it.

Meeting Point: Country Rock which is right off 441. Any questions on how to get there PM me....

When: 6:30 meet up 7:30 arrival

Where: Atlanta Dragway in Commerce

Cost: $10 to watch
$20 to race
and money for grub.

As of right now we are going to be there weather permitting. Taking the Gray coupe for some TNT after a few small minor adjustments so don't expect much, this is our 15 yr. old sons car and just looking for some high 10's. ;)

The car is loaded and the truck is filled up so look for us there. I would like to meet some of the people off here if ya get time but usually no one stops in off of here I guess since we ain't got "RICE" but anyone is welcome to if ya get the itch.

There are just small showers around, no major system, there is one in AL but it is not HUGE. I think it is just going to be like the weather said, scattered, here on the east side of Athens there is loads of sun, I am mowing :) The system in AL seems to be weakening as it comes into GA but might come back up and bring scattered stuff later on (probably hint the scattered showers tonight) come on people last Athens meet was 80% chance of rain, and nasty looking, and NOT A DROP of rain.
